This Vitamin C mask is amazing and just what my skin was looking for. I received this complimentary in exchange for my review. This biocellulose mask is saturated with vitamin C and lactic acid to help brighten skin, boost radiance, and reduce redness. I used it on a cold winter day where my skin was feeling dull and was so impressed with the results. It was easy to put on and felt nice and hydrating on my face. After using, my face looked brighter and my skin felt so hydrated. Going forward, this will be a go to face mask!

I usually loooooove Dr. Dennis Gross’ products. I have been hooked on his Extra Strength Peel Pads for years now. Then he knocked it out of the park and helped my PCOS induced problematic skin, leaving it completely clear and almost as bright as when I’ve had MD laser done. Do I had high hopes. I agree with the worry about a bad batch due to so many peer and online reviews. This one dried my skin out and caused several blemishes to bleed. It was a less than calming experience and no one wants to come out of a home sheet mask looking like they just got in a fight. Glad I only wasted money on the one. Definitely won’t be buying again.

I really have to doubt the 'instant' difference reviews not being incentivized bc these literally do nothing; and I didn't want to be a hater. The sephora associate said these were epic when I asked for single use mask rec's and for $12 disposable, you'd think it' d do alittle something but this was the most useless purchase of the year for me. I used exaclty as directed and it left my skin sticky and didabsolutely nothing. I don't like to use acids for no reason bc I think alot of people overuse them and weaken their skin so VERY disappointed to have wasted the money and skin barrier, oh well.
To start off, this face mask is in between two pieces of mesh. They are hard to see, so I believe that’s why some people are saying they received a dry mask and/or it doesn’t stay on the face well. The first time peeling the mesh off is tricky, but after that you get the hang of it. If you have a round face, you will likely have to cut the edges of the outer eye for it to fit well, it’s easiest to do before you peel off the mesh. I have a very fair skin tone with cool under tones and this really helps reduce redness and brightens dull skin. I can immediately see a difference after using it, this is being added to my weekly masks. The smell is similar to the Tatcha Indigo Overnight Repair Cream, not great but not terrible. (These two pair very well for redness)
Love this mask! I’m used to the cheap ones from target so this was definitely a nice twist! Right from the start. The smell was nice. Not too strong. The application process is fun. Removing the mesh after applying the mask is easy and the actual mask really does stick and mold to your face. I didn’t have to worry about pressing it back on. After removing the mask, I followed directions and rubbed the rest of the product into my skin. It left my face, feeling so hydrated and fresh. Definitely brightened up my skin!
I loved this mask. I loved loved loved that it was biocellulose. It feels super luxe! I saw a lot of neg reviews mentioning it was stiff - there are 2 mesh layers one on each side of the mask that needs to removed prior to putting on your face. People also didn’t like that it wasn’t dripping in essence - this is a biocellulose mask! It doesn’t need to be dripping in essence because this material sits against your face like 2nd skin and it is suppose to help your skin absorb the product more effectively than your run of the mill sheet mask dripping in essence. I fell in love with some of the more expensive biocellulose masks not sold at Sephora and none come dripping in essence. IYKYK This mask is effective, luxe, and should be in everyone’s arsenal. Highly recommend.
This was a very nice sheet mask! It’s not super wet, which I prefer because some masks are so sopping wet with serum that they drip down my neck the entire time. That said, I did use some of the extra serum on my face and neck before applying the mask. I left it on for 15 min per the instructions, and when I took it off my skin looked nice and hydrated. If you use the peels like I do, this is wayyyy more gentle. It didn’t tingle or sting in any way. Overall I really liked this sheet mask and would definitely use it again.
Being postpartum, my skin has been dry and red, so I was thrilled to try this new mask from Dr. Dennis Gross. I have enjoyed other products from him. I love that this was a simple mask that only took 15 minutes, especially with a newborn to tend to, I don’t have much time to myself. The mask was very refreshing and I did notice that some of my redness went away immediately after using. I did apply sunscreen after and wore a hat for our afternoon walk with no sun run issues. I will say applying the mask was a little confusing at first (because I didn’t read the full directions) and didn’t realize the actual mask was sandwiched between two pieces of mesh. Overall I really enjoyed the mask!
This product was gifted and I’ll start by saying, this smells absolutely FOWL!!! It smells like fruity vomit to me and I just couldn’t get past the smell the entire time. It kept lifting off of my face, i don’t know that it’s a face mask I would recommend I would have to keep trying a few more times to see some results, not a noticeable difference in my skin (upon first try). But I’m not quite sure it’s a product that I want on my face again because the scent made me nauseous and I immediately wanted to wash my face. Luckily no smell was left behind but it made my stomach turn the 15 min. I waited it out.
