Dr. LeWinn's Private Formula Gentle Cream Cleanser 120 ml

This product exceeded my expectations. I am so glad to say I have found a brand I can completely stand behind and support, after 3 consecutive uses I noticed a massive difference in my face. Combined with a good skin regimen, this product works wonders! As a women of colour with dark areas, large pores and dry skin I've noticed this product has lightened hyperpigmentation, rejuvenated the skin and decreased pores. A little goes such a long way so I don't think I'll be running out of this any time soon

Comforting cleanser

I've been using this cleanser for a couple of years now initially recieving it as a gift in a box set. The smell is subtle but fresh. I would describe this as more of a milk cleanser as it's a slightly runnier consistency than a lot of cream cleansers. It cleanses well and I find it to be a very basic pleasant cleanser that thoroughly cleans with no drying. I have several different cleansers on the go at any given time.all very different, but dr lewinns gentle cream cleanser is always present in my cleanser stash. I've repurchased this several times and love it. I use it often as my second cleanse in the evening (although I haven't had problems removing makeup) and almost every morning it's this one I choose to start my morning routine with. It's a calming cleanser both in the physical sense of the product on your skin but it's also a calming experience for when I'm feeling meh!The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is it is quite pricey for a fairly basic cleanser when buying it separately.

Don't waste your money

Argh, I wish I read the reviews prior to purchasing. I wouldn't recommend this cleanser, it doesn't remove makeup, is very thin and when trying to pump it out it goes everywhere. But worse of all it leaves a thick oily coating on my face! I could literally scrape it off with my fingernails. I wish I could get a replacement for another Dr Lewinns cleanser as I've heard great things of their other cleansers :(

Honestly i am so so disappointed

I am a 32 years old guy and i like dr: lewin products. They smell nice, the quality and texture of most products is satisfactory too.However, i am least impressed and honestly more disappointed in this product. Its like washing your face with some very thin runny oily material that just disappears on your face and you just try to rub around and clean face with whatever oil is left.Doesn't wash properly either. If i had kept my receipts, I would have loved to get a refund but lesson learnt, don’t waste your $23.

Horrible!

The smell is so strong and unpleasant that I threw the whole bottle away. Not only that, it has not even cleansed my skin nor did it remove my makeup! just left greasy, messy film on my skin! not recommended at all, sorry!

It’s for normal to dry skin and I love it!!

It says for normal to dry skin. So if you have oily skin why you would buy this I have no idea??? So don’t complain about it. I love it , I use it twice a day and it last for ages. Suitable for older skin I would think. Im 48.

Not a great as it once was.

I have used this cleanser for around 5 years it was great very thick and creamy. The past 6 months I’ve noticed it’s became very runny or it sticky in texture and has a totally different smell.Decided I’m going to purchasing. Go back to the old formula.

Not a great product

Disappointed that I bought this. Too oily and so hard to wash off.. Have tried it on and off over the past month with my other cleanser and I've noticed I always break out the day after I use this product (I almost never break out). Have given up and thrown it out.

Very runny cleanser

Have been loving Dr Lewinn’s products. Been using foam cleansers and trying the cream type for the first time as skin gets drier. Like the smell but surprise on how running this is as it is more like milk than cream, guess I should not after reading rest of the reviews. It also left my face and hand greasy with a visible layer of oil, ended up have to follow with a foam cleanser...

Would not recommend

I bought this product as I was after a cream cleanser. I would not use the word cream if I was describing it. Very watery, runs straight through my fingers. Leaves the face feeling oily. Very disappointed with the description of the product compared to what it actually is.
