No scaling up. I checked twice, I know. The appearance of 1460 Serena speaks for itself - classic look, famous yellow stitching, semi-matte genuine leather, always trendy. What you can't see is that the fur covers almost the whole boot inside except toecap. Insoles are furry too. Warmyyy :)The boots are comfy without breaking in. They are wearable right away. And suitable for long winter walks. Haven't worn them yet but I've got a feeling)ComparisonI already have a pair of 1460 Smooth unisex (black / 11822006) in 37.5 EU (6.5 US women, 4.5 UK) ~ 37.5 RU. The Serena ones are of size 38 EU (7 US women, 5 uk) ~ 38 RU. My feet size is between 37.5 and 38 RU. For non-Russian readers, I wear FILA sneackers in UK 5.- You'll notice no significant difference in size externally, but there's more toe room in Serena (so half-size matters)- the Serena boots are visibly narrower, which is nice, 'cuz my feet are fixed well so there's no rubbing against the backs and outsides- both boots are absolutely identical in terms of ankle width. Serena seem to look a bit thicker because of fur but they wrap your ankles much better than stiff classic 1460 modelTo wrap it up, I'm surprised that doc martens can feel like slippers :) And that I had the boots delivered so amazingly fast! Awesome boots, very happy!

Awesome boots! I bought them for work in a catering kitchen where I'm on my feet all day. Wore them around the house for a lil bit, no need to break them in, they were extremely comfy right out of the box. Thought the fur lining would be hot, but no, just makes them feel extra comfy so I don't have to wear thick socks. Love the look also, received many compliments.

Cosy warm and very comfortable

I’m so pleased with my new dr martens the fur inside and the the soft leather makes these comfortable from first wear . I have to say though that I had to remove the furry insole only because they were a little too tight but that has made no difference to the comfort of them I’m over the moon with them. I have kept the fury insoles for future use as they might loosen up and I will put them in as as option if needed .Amazing quality and will last a very long time and will never go out of fashion definitely a win win

Dr Martens has a new lifelong customer...

...because I love these boots so, so much. The color is perfect - equal parts fun and reliable & matchable, they're wonderfully constructed, and they're easy to clean off and polish / seal. I've worn them dressed up and down and gotten so many compliments on them. The fuzzy lining is like walking on a cloud, and they're not as stiff as I thought they'd be which means I was able to break them in pretty quickly!

Faux fur warms my feet!!

Living in the Midwest and driving a school bus in below freezing temperatures, I’ve been searching for boots and socks that will keep my feet warm while the bus takes forever to heat up. When I saw these Timberlands with faux fur on sale, I bought them as a Christmas present for myself!!! The durability and great quality that is expected of Timberlands are an added bonus, but the fur was the deciding factor. So far, I have worn them in 17° weather with thickish socks and in 22° with thinner wool socks, and my feet have remained comfortable! I am delighted such that I’m saving up for the brown pair...even with the discount, they are costly for a bus driver’s income. Gorgeous comfy boots!

I haven't worn docs for years, because of the breaking in thing, (and a previous pair in my size were too big, though I've now bought insoles and thick socks to see if they do the trick..) The fur lined ones appealed to me, and although I'm normally a 5.5/6 in other shoes, going from reviews I decided to go for the the 6. These are a perfect fit! I wouldn't be able to put thick socks on with them, but I wouldn't need to anyway. I wore them for a week around the house, as they are a bit stiff, particularly around the top, and today i ventured out in them for a short walk. They are so comfortable! I'm really pleased i chose these ones, and will be wearing them most of the time now, I love them! Look large, but feel narrow

I have an issue with the stitching on the top part feeling tight. I am still unsure if I want to keep them because they feel tight. I can’t predict if they will loosen up and get comfy or stay too tight and cut my circulation in my feet. Disappointed that it was not comfy as expected. I usually wear size 7 and ordered a size 7. I wouldn’t wear size 8 because they already look really big on my feet. I’m still debating to keep them because I love the style and really wanted a pair like these.

Patient customer

I’ve had to order 4 pairs of this boot to get a matching left and right boot that doesn’t hurt my foot on the top. The boots shipped to me have an indentation where the material is sewn together and it wasn’t sewn well. See picture. I tried emailing company w/no response. Ended up ordering multiple pairs to find a good left and right and sent back the remaining ones but in the end had to pay for returned shipping more than once on a boot defect. The faux fur helps the boot be a little more snug than the regular 1460 boot which I have a couple of. I am normally a size 7.5 but I order my docs in 7 and have to wear thicker socks which is fine but these boots fit very well for me.

The best boots for winter!

I have not taken these boots off since I received them! I absolutely love them, they are so comfortable and warm. There was absolutely no rubbing like you get with most shoes, just pure comfort from day one! The fit is absolutely spot on (I do have narrow feet but I feel like the lining adds some extra layering). The fur lining is so soft and warm, which is perfect for someone like me who always has cold feet. I no longer have to wear 4 pairs of socks! These are my new favourite boots and will definitely keep you comfortable, warm and stylish throughout winter! A must!

Very disappointed

I bought these as I’ve always wanted a pair. I wanted to update my Timberland winter boots with these ones so I went ahead and purchased a size10 as I typically wear a 9 or 10 depending on the shoe/boot whatever. Absolutely not nope didn’t fit. The middle top (basically the bottom where the laces start) part hurt so bad as soon as I put my foot in. Unfortunately there was absolutely no change at all just sitting with my foot in it. Walking around the house was excruciating! I had to return them as I just couldn’t. :( I was so sad to have to send them back. I’m not even sure if I should buy the 11 if they would be too big or whatever as I don’t own anything an 11. Ugh so wanted these to work out.
