Love absolutely everything about these boots. The style, the slightly thicker sole without being a full platform.The usual needing to wear in, but after a couple of days these were much easier to get on and off and are SO COMFORTABLE now!!!I bought the balsam too, so hoping these have MANY years of wear in them, I love them so much!I’m a wide fit size 5.5 - went for a 6, absolutely perfect!

They did need a bit of wearing in, but I find this standard for most DM’s, once worn in they are very comfy. A little tight to begin with getting my foot in, but the elastic gives and the leather does soften. Slightly on the larger size of a 6 for me. This is not a problem as there is plenty of room for winter socks. I also bought a pair of the DM insoles for extra comfort. Not that they especially need them, I just feel the insole gives that bit extra and stops my socks and foot sliding around. Width was perfect for me, they don’t pinch. The chunkier sole on these are fab! Really good grip on them too. Wet pavement and autumn leaves don’t stop the tread on these boots. No sliding and slipping when wet under foot. This show came fast and in great condition. Wore them with two pairs of socks the first couple times to help break them in, worked great. My only complaint is that they don't come in half sizes. I am a US 6.5. I ordered the 7 and they were was too much room in the front and too wide. I returned and ordered a 6. They fit better, tighter to the sides of my foot but some would say is too small on my foot. If I wear 2 socks my toes start to hurt, hoping the leather continues to stretch out so I have no toe pain with just 1 pair of socks on.But over all fantastic quality of shoe and looks just like the picture.

I've always wanted a pair of Doc Martens and finally got them! The ones called Bex. I've worn them every day. The quality is fantastic and they look great, I've had loads of compliments and they also ho with most of my wardrobe. The grip on the soles is great and don't slip love the yellow stitching. They are an investment!
Very happy with my purchase, love that the sole is chunky but not platform. Look really smart but could be dressed up or down with any outfit.Little bit of a struggle to get on at first but hoping that eases with wear. I also bought the care kit to try and soften the leather but too early to say if that helps or not.I would say buy your true size, I’m a 7 and that size fits perfectly whereas I has to downsize in my DM’s sandals.
I ordered size 5, my original size, here too. I am not fully comfortable in these shoes yet. I think I have to walk in them many times to soften the leather. Plus, I want to change the insoles to get my feet more comfortable. It feels like I am walking on the flat hard surface.I wish I ordered them in size 6. I feel like the shoe size is a bit smaller than my other pairs of Dr. Martens. Other than that, they look good on different outfits.
Practical, comfortable and a similar style boot to my casual wear. I wear them daily for work. This is the first pair of Docs I've owned and I understand why people rave about them. I purchased the Dr. Martens dubbin and wax too. Helped ease the boots in which can somwtimes be an uncomfortable experience. I'm a big fan.
I love these boots. They’re super comfortable and you can pretty much wear them with anything. These are the first pair of docs I had to break in thigh. I purchased a size 8. Normally I purchase other shoes in size 8.5. With docs you always want to size down. My foot is naturally slim but I had a pretty hard time trying to get these into my foots. They’re on the stiff side until you break them in. I’ve been wearing pretty much everyday for the past 3 weeks and they’re starting to loosen up. 10/10 would definitely recommend
I made my size purchase based off other reviews and also measured my foot using their guide. I’m typically a size 8 1/2 or 9 so I got the 8 since everyone said the shoes run big. I checked their measurements and verified they would fit since their return policy is so strict. When I got the shoes the sole fit but I noticed the leather body seemed slightly tighter than the other. After wearing them around the house for 10 mins I developed a blister on my heel. Since I wore them the leather creased so I’ll just keep them. I hate the thought of what they do to the returned shoes that aren’t fit for resale. Seems like a waste of an animals life but I digress. I wanted to love these cute boots, but they were so stiff- I really had a difficult time getting my feet in and out- took great effort and just know I won't choose to wear them if they're this stiff and hard to wear. Also the leather was so smooth that it didn't seem like genuine leather to me.Very cute tho- might be ok if you were willing to spend a lot of time working them in and loosening them up. Just were too stiff for my taste.
