Same shape, sole, and fit as 1460 but Nappa leather is soft and feels broken in right out of box . No shine if that’s what you’re after. A matte soft leather instead. still feels rugged enough to last a long time. No cons.

My first experience with Dr. M was not good. When I received my new my boots the pull tag on the back was tore in half. So when I contacted you regarding this issue, I was told a pair would be shipped out but then later was told I had to return my pair before another would be shipped out. I did want a smaller size, I originally ordered an 8 and wanted a 7. So several days after I contacted you telling you I had returned my boots I was told the size I wanted was out of stock till first of March. I then was told I would be issued a credit and she would send over a discount code for a future purchase, which I have yet to receive the discount code or a reply!

This is my first pair of Dr. Martens. I usually wear Women US Size 6 (pumps/heels) and Women US Size 6.5 (sneakers). I ordered Women US Size 6 for Dr. Martens and it fits just how I want it (not snug and enough space for a thin or even a thick socks). Very comfortable and not heavy at all. Aesthetically very pleasing to what I have been looking for. Considering to get a pair of their Mary Jane in the future.

I've had trouble with the original smooth leather being very uncomfortable on the tops of my feet, but decided to give the Nappa leather a try. These were incredibly comfortable. The leather is more suple so the break-in period was painless. I just did a 3-mile hike without any problems. These are now my new everyday boots!
For anyone who is conflicted about getting Docs due to the 'break in' period, I HIGHLY recommend the Nappa Leather. I've worn them twice with absolutely no discomfort so far, and they are extremely easy to get on and off. I got my regular size and they are just a tad roomy, though I think that'll be nice for wearing thicker socks during cool weather.
I was hesitant to purchase because this was my first pair of Dr. Martens. Have worn twice and love so far. Quickly broken in and comfortable. Also very cute.
These fit perfectly. I have worn them almost everyday since I got them, they took no time to break in. Can't wait to see how they hold up. The leather is so soft and smooth. very happy with my purchase!
Love these - you can dress them up or down. They are quite comfortable however just require a bit of breaking in. This is my first pair of Docs so I am not sure what the general consensus is, but found that these run a little bit large (size 10, but probably a more snug fit into a size 9)Either way not a big deal, just something to note!
I instantly feel in love with the Nappa Leather when my foot went in the boot. Unfortunately, the boots opening was too wide for my ankle and would cause problems walking. This might be because the boot is unisex? For reference, normal shoe size Women's 7.5 I got a Women's 8. I know I should have stuck with a W7 but even if I exchanged I knew the opening would be too wide for me.
these look and feel great, like ive always expected from doc martens, but the insole on the right boot has come off from the leather on the pinky toe side after about 2 or 3 weeks of wear. still functional, comfortable, relatively waterproof work boots, but i usually get a lot more wears before something like this happens.
