I've been wearing Docs for a while and I just can't over how dang comfortable these boots are right out of the gate. I got them for an overseas trip since I'll be walking a lot and they're already proving to be the right choice. The leather looks sleek and beautifully textured, and the cushioning in the soles is absolutely perfect. I love how easy they are to slip in to. Get up and go in seconds. Overall fantastic.

I needed a pair of boots for work and my wife insisted on Dr. Martens. I am a materials manager at a metal fabricator so I do a lot of walking through the plants. My main concern was that I wondered if they would slip on easily or if I would have to fight to get them on. They were a little stiff out of the box but still easy to slip into, with some help from the loop on the back. I am still in the break-in process but they are super comfortable and I couldn’t ask for better quality. As for the fit, I wear thick socks and these boots fit very well. A little bit of wiggle room but not excessive.

For the last 10 years or so, I purchased Doc Martens because they were good, quality shoes/boots. They stopped carrying my go to pair, so I decided to try a different brand. That was my mistake. I bought these because that new pair were falling apart after 6 months. While these aren't the Doc Martens that I fell in love with all those years ago, they are a welcome substitute. Would highly recommend.

The opening of this boot is so so small. I have worn docs forever and this is the first boot I couldn't even squeeze in to try on. I ordered a 7 knowing they run bigger. The size was fine butI had to stretch the opening just to get it on. And forget about getting it off on your own. My 11 year old and i had to double team the boot to get it off. Super heavy work boot style. Not impressed
I think these boots will be one of my favorites. When I first got them, I couldn’t even get them on my feet. I almost sent them back but decided to wear them inside the house to see how they felt. Each time I wore them they loosened up a bit more. I find that without the tab to help pull them on, there is no way I could get them on my feet. I wore them outside yesterday for quite awhile. I had to put bandaids on a few places around my shin and ankles after. I’m not giving up on them!
Fantastic boots out of the box - no breaking in necessary. I get so many compliments. What I like are the worn in look, the bouncy sole, and overall comfort. I’m on my feet all day at work and these boots don’t disappoint. A bit of a challenge to get your feet in the first time (tight opening) but that gets better over time. So versatile I can wear it for work or a night out with friends.
I’m not sure why the company hasn’t updated it’s sizing because it’s totally off. I ordered my normal size 7, and the shoes that came were 100% a whole size bigger. I held them up to my other shoes and it was at least 3/4” bigger than a normal size 7. I shipped them back and still didn’t receive my refund 2 weeks after they received my shoes back. I had to call customer service to ask what was going on! They issued me my refund the next day after I reached out. I planned to order these in a size 6, but they haven’t been in stock for over a month. This has been a weird experience to say the least, especially for such a prevalent company in the shoe industry.
I ordered boots and protection spray. Spray was put in shoebox with the boots which leaked :(Took almost 2 weeks to hear back from customer service. Sent the shoes back as a return, customer service took it upon themselves to make it an exchange. So I’ve sent back the second pair as a return (again) and am still waiting to hear if they got them and when to expect the refund to my account. Also, returns will cost you shipping charge.
Was actually trying to purchase a Gibson for work casual dress but purchased these for a boot feel. The look of it is not bulky and has a narraower than usual look compared to other boots. It will take some time to break them In especially the shin area. Having said that, it’s real leather and indications that this boot will last a long time.
Really good looking boots and they are probably the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. The souls absorb shock so well my feet do not feel tired after hours of wear and walking. I usually wear size 10 but they do run big. The size 9 fits perfectly. They are easy to slip on and off. Highly recommend these boots.
