Before purchasing these, I was wearing the Adrian smooth tassel loafers. Inexplicably, one of the tassels came off. So I decided to purchase the Made in England Adrian Tassel loafers. I am so impressed by their quality and beauty. I get a lot of compliments on them. They're definitely my favorite shoes! Be sure to get your proper size. I'm usually a 5 in Docs, but I went with a 4, which was the right choice. Definitely worth the money.

These docs don’t even rub as bad. I think it’s the style of the shoe. I do admit that they aren’t made completely identical but this adds to their character. Make of this what you will! I think it could be an issue if they didn’t fit correctly but they do for me. They have some extra room for stretch but don’t slip off.I love the smooth leather feature and yellow stitching on these shoes. I am considering adding an insole or wearing with thicker socks as the sole inside isn’t cushioned. It makes me wonder if this is a thing with the newer shoes. The last pair I’ve had of closed toe style are the boots that I bought in 2016.

I normally wear a US 10.5, and trusted the reviews to size down to a docs US 9—If you're wondering what size you should get, there are size guides that indicate the real size of the shoe—at first, they barely fit, during the first days I considered returning them as they were EXACTLY my size, which caused some blisters. After wearing them for a week, letting the blisters heal and putting paper inside of them at night, they fit like a glove and are one of the most comfortable shoes I own. (Remember all shoes will fit differently, as for example I always wear thin socks with these as they are exactly the size of my feet)I 100% recommend but make sure you have the tools to take care of the leather as they get dirty and crease really easily.

I sized down as everyone recommended, and they were way too small. My second pair a size larger arrived and the fit was tight and uncomfortable, I thought this was due to the required "break-in period." I continued to torture myself wearing these, but they're still too small. If they offered half sizes, there would not be an issue. The only thing that saved them was buying a shoe stretcher $75.00. However, that was better than wasting the $230.00 I spent on the shoes that were unreturnable after trying to "break them in."
I bought these Adrian Yellow Stitch shoes in the recent sale as I loved the style. I ordered my usual size (4) but what a kerfuffle to get them on! I have a high instep and with the stiffness of the leather, especially the band over the instep I just couldn’t get my foot in. I was determined though, so Amazon to the rescue with a multipack of pop socks and a long handled shoe horn and I managed to get them on. They are actually a little on the large side and I haven’t worn them outside as they are taking some wearing in. As usual they are beautifully made, they look great and will never wear out. I seldom wear anything other than Docs so they are a welcome addition to my growing collection!
The shoes look fantastic, the issue was that they were too small. I have bought multiple pairs of docs and I have always been a size 6. In the description on the website there is nothing that says the made in England shoes would be a smaller fit than the other docs. When I went to the store to see if I can try on the 6.5 size I was told that they are not sold in store. When speaking to staff I was told that the made in England docs are normally smaller. This was NOT made clear on the website. I received a 10% discount for signing up which I now will no longer be able to receive when purchasing the second pair that hopefully will fit. All in all this was very dragged out and disappointing.
I had been eyeing these for months now and finally pulled the trigger. When I first got them it took me like a couple minutes to get my foot in and I was hella worried. But as I wore them more they loosened up. Had a bit of pain on the heel and toes where the tassel is (probably because that’s where it’s tight to keep it on your foot) but it got less tight as I wore them. About 2 weeks later they have stretched to the point that they fit me more like an 11.5, my true size. I ordered these in a size 11 US. My foot is ever so slightly wider than normal. Would definitely recommend these! Oh, also make sure to wear thick socks to help stretch these and to protect your heel and toes from blisters.
My son thinks the shoes are great but it was more work than it needed to be to get the right size. He’s a 10.5 so we ordered one size and they were too big. I had to buy a new pair and then return the first pair. You can’t exchange in a store and you pay the return postage. They honored the price I initially paid so that was nice although the discount was somewhat negated by the shipping I ended up paying. Headache aside, they were very friendly. I’m just not sure I would order online again unless I could be certain of the size.
Absolutely in love with these shoes. I am a size 9 and bought a 9. I have narrow feet and was expecting to have to cram my feet in like cinderellas twin sisters, frantically searching for the 4 uwanted shoe horns found in last years christmas crackers, but these fit like a dream. I waxed on the wonder balm and they softened up real quick. I usually only wear the combs tech 2's as I struggle with the breaking in process. I also attempted a few round house kicks and a Daniel Larusso crane kick to see if they'd fly off in front of a mirror. No 7 years bad luck for me, just 7 days off work to a displaced hip.Throughly recommend the shoes!
The shoe itself is beautiful but couldn’t get my foot in because it is too narrow. The shoe also runs big and had to return it. I bought one size down and even harder to put my foot in, not sure why the opening was made so small. They hurt when I started walking but was told it wouldn’t hurt once I broke them in. I tried on another pair of loafers without the yellow stitching and those were so comfortable. Wished the yellow stitch loafers were made like those.
