The quality was terrible so I had to return. Opened the box and boots were ripped and steings hanging out at the zipper and seams. I don't know how they passed qulaity control. Leather and stitching low qulaity. I found out that Docs have gone downhill since they sold out to produce them in Thailand. I am looking at getting some Solovair boots which is the maker of the original Docs, they are made in Europe and seem to be a much better quality boot for the price. If Dr. Marten is going to produce this low quality boot they need to drop the price down to $80 or less in my opinion.

Got these for the old lady for mothers day and she has worn them everyday since.She loves them, more than me i think.Moans about the laces even though they have a zip, but if she wasnt moanin i'd worrie.She says they are comfortable even after 10 hrs on shift. An gets complimented on them by randoms at work.All in all these are worth the money as she leaves me alone!

I have some thick chonky legs. I had to order longer laces and then they fit better. With the orginal laces there was a gap between the eyes and the tongue at the top as I ran out of lace length to accommodate my cavernous calves. 120 inch laces worked. They are comfortable boots that give a nice shape and with this type of leather there is no break in time.

Fabulous quality boots. I am a huge fan of Dr Martens simply because they are worth every penny and you will have them for years and years so are a great investment! Super comfy and their styles are so flattering. Have received so many comments wearing these boots either with jeans, long dresses and skirts. You won’t be disappointed!
I own a pair of 1990's knee high boots that STILL have super tough leather and are a little painful to wear for long amounts of time. So I have coveted this pair for many years now. I am so glad I finally bought them. The leather is so nice and pliable that they had zero breaking in time. I also unintentionally met one of my favorite musicians on the street while I was wearing them for the first time, so they are not only my favorite boots, but my lucky boots as well. ;-)
Mmm I have 5 different pairs of DCM and I love all of them but I have to say the latest ones are nothing like the older (my first one are 16th years old hard wearing) maybe more modern but quality and comfort are going down a big time unfortunately. The pair I bought last year, the leather is already torn and they are expensive. The one I just bought, I love the design but so uncomfortable I can’t really walk down the stairsI’m sorry but not happy
Wonderfully comfortable from the first moment - just like walking on air(wair). I'd need to get up an hour earlier if the super strong zips weren't there, enabling easy entry, and of course exit; excellent feature. The longest laces known to man/woman/other, enabling avievement of a perfect fit, even on my scrawny little calves. A wonderfully entertaining time was spent achieving this, by careful adjustment of lacing. My warm and cosy feet and legs say a huge 'thank you' to Dr. Martens.
I LOVE these boots. This score is directed at QA. The gave me the incorrect shoelace size for one of my boots, they look obviously different in size when next to each other, I have no idea how that was overlooked. It’s just annoying and inconsiderate, these are 200+ dollar boots and I couldn’t get the courtesy of the correct shoelace size for both? Other than that nuisance I LOVE them. Just annoying having to deal with that and running around different stores trying to find the correct shoelace size/length. Please improve QA
My feet are 8.5. Have a long toe, it’s weird, from my mom who is French. I’m happy with both. 8 fits perfectly for thigh high Tights. At first I freaked they are snug. But I wore around house for several hours a day for several weeks. These are designated for Indoor wear. 9 fits perfectly with Thick Thigh Highs. Wore immediately on several 3 mile pavement hikes, puddle stomping and they exceeded my wildest expectations. Super Sexy.

The laces make it possible to tighten it exactly how you need to, and then you just zip them up after that! My only issues with these boots are that they are still very difficult to put on (I might have to invest in a shoe horn because my heel doesn’t want to slide in without bunching up my socks), and the break-in period is just very intense. My feet have been killing me for the last week after I wear them.
