I've had a lot of Dr Martens, from boots to oxfords. The oxfords with the cushioned heel are the most comfortable. I wish all oxfords were made with it. I recommend sizing up because the leather is quite stiff and the shoe a bit narrow. These are comfy and stylish; I've received lots of compliments from people of all ages.

Found these shoes last summer and had to wait for nearly an entire year until they were back in stock. Ordered a 6 and 5 to see which fit because based on the reviews, other folks recommended that. The 6 is a bit loose and the 5 was way too tight, so I stuck with the 6. Think I have finally broken them in after a few weeks. Normal socks work just fine but wearing these shoes for long periods of time does cause minor strain on the foot, with the extra weight from the platform. I am happy to have them finally! Definitely upgrades outfits effortlessly.

I had wanted the Dr. Martens platform Oxford for a long time. These shoes are so comfortable. I wear them to school. My university has a very big campus, and I walk 3 to 5 miles a day in these. After I got them broken in, they have been my go to shoes for school. The platform keeps my feet warm and dry in the winter. These Docs are so cute too! They go with almost every outfit!10/10 would buy again.

Really wanted to love these. I usually buy a six in Docs but always put insoles in them. I did the same for these but because of the type of shoe it fit weird. The shoe is very heavy. I have platforms boots from Dr. Martin as well which are the same weight, but because of the lack of support around the ankle with these they seem extra heavy. Tried wearing them and the top of my foot started hurting.
I love this style, I'm not a heal wearer but these give me a good couple of inches! They have not been hard to wear in as I expected. This may be due to the extra eyelets and slight padding round the rim also I have a high instep, but all ok so far. Love the style as it's versatile and looks great with jeans, trousers, skirts and dresses. Great for work and casual and a night out. Highly recommended ***
I wanted to buy online for more options and the first time I wore it, it gave me blisters and poor circulation for my feet. It would be a life saver to have them exchanged for a size up but their policy does not allow it. It is on me for getting the wrong the wrong size but when measuring my foot, I thought it would be a fit. Learned a lesson but it would have been nice to have the correct size for my foot’s sake :,)
These shoes are gorgeous, high quality and very versatile. They’re quite heavy because they’re platforms but once you get used to the weight you won’t notice it. The back part of the shoes do tend to rub on my heel a bit and can leave it a bit sore but that’s after multiple hours of walking around in them and I’m sure if you just doubled up the socks it won’t be an issue. I’m also still breaking them in so that could also be the reason why.
These shoes rule, look great with almost anything, and are EASILY the most comfortable Docs I’ve ever worn. They still needed to be broken in, but it was a mercifully fast process.The only complaint I have is that the sizing is definitely off. I wear an 8 in all Doc boots, so I bought these in an 8 as well.They’re definitely a bit big, but not so big that I need to return them. I worry that the 7 might somehow be too small anyway.Just be aware that the sizing is weird on these, and know you might need to exchange them if you guess wrong on which size you’ll need.

i’ve wanted a pair of docs for ages and i haven’t been happier ! super good quality, they feel really soft on the foot but sturdy at the same time. the heel is a cute touch to give it some height ! i will admit that i went in store first to try on a pair as these are my first and i have quite narrow feet so i did size down when i eventually bought them online but they fit great, are super cute and literally go with everything so you’ll get your moneys worth :)
