Dr Martens Blaire White Sandals

These shoes are so cute. I originally purchased a size 8... I’m not sure why I didn’t listen to the reviews about sizing... and holy cow they were like two inches longer than my toes. My husband and I were hysterically laughing. I normally wear an 8 or 8.5. Anyway, I ordered a size 7 and they fit perfectly. And then I see some pictures in reviews where people have like inches of space in front of their toes and are talking about how perfect the sandals fit... sandals are supposed to actually fit you haha. Anyway, DEFINITELY order a size smaller than you normally would. I promise. Because these shoes are soooo cute and you will want to wear them immediately! I bought these sandals about 3 weeks ago and I love them. However, I must warn you that you'll need to break them in slowly as the straps will rub and cause blisters around the ankles and big toes. I didn't think they would rub too much and chose to wear them all day at Six Flags! Yikes, big mistake...horrible blisters. What I learned is, don't buckle them super tight. Leave a little slack to the straps to allow less rubbing and pressure. Also, break them in gradually if you start feeling sore so you can avoid blisters. Once they are broken in, they are amazingly comfortable and super lightweight. Bonus, easy to clean by just using a plain washcloth or even running under sink.

She wears a 9 in Dr. Martins and a 9.5 in normal shoes. Well, the 8 didn't fit her. The straps were large and her foot overhung the sole. She wasn't sure if she wanted a larger size or a return, so I tried them on.I don't have any Dr. Martins, but I wear a size 8. The 8 sandal fit great and the sole had an arch that I need. Even getting my daughter a larger size wouldn't solve the sewing issue.When sewing two pieces of leather together, the company should have thinned out the leather where it meets to create the same size or they should have sewed it showing on the straps to not have rubbing. The colors were adorable and it is a shame that the design was flawed. Did no one wear these in production to test that? Any bindings on shoes should be considered for irritation.So my Christmas gift was a bust plus I lost $7 returning these shoes because of the size thanks to other inaccurate reviews. I don't know if I will order again from the website because of the return fee. I know these shoes were on sale, but for the price of Docs they should have free returns.
