(These have a full insole verses only the heel cover for Vegan Docs) Best docs, I scored finding another pair on eBay that were in great condition. I almost cried. I uploaded the new pair I received and the ones Ive been wearing for years and hiked in all summer

Brilliant boots. Love love love the colour. Fit perfectly and I have pretty wide fit. Still taking time to wear them in. Had a couple of tiny blisters on my heels, so taking my time to wear them in properly. Size 8 uk fits true to size with generous width. I’ve had lots of compliments already. I can’t wait to wear them every day. Only one minor gripe- the laces aren’t the best quality, bit thin and I can imagine they won’t last for long. But you can always buy a new pair. Other than that I am completely delighted with the boots.

I love the colour & have always loved the look of the 1460 . I didn't really want vegan boots but you did not supply this colour in leather ?? I have several pairs of 1460s but I'm worried the vegan material will not be as hard-wearing as the leather ? Let's see how they fare in the next few months . I absolutely love all of my doc boots !!
I paid 170 quid to get boots with glue marks over them.I dont have time to run about getting replacements and I wanted them for the event the day after I got them.Really disappointed.Top that off with the chelsea boit style cracking after 3 MINTHS with dr martens Balsall kit. Doesn't impress me, I thought I was buying quality.I work in an office at a desk.Really poor. Probably try solitaire next time, they have better designs.Or even fakes, at least the price makes them worth it.
I love my new boots. The material is very soft and they have felt very comfortable from the onset. No issues breaking them in. I will wear them with jeans, trousers and dresses/skirts. Very light weight. It is so good to be able to purchase quality vegan boots. I generally take a size 5 and the boots feel a little roomy but wearing thick socks/tights and socks resolves this (size 4 felt too small).
For shoes that cost ÂŁ170, you'd think that the manufacturing process would be rock solid and the quality would be top notch. But on these, the bottom of the shoes are clearly not put together correctly and you can hear the tacky sound of badly glued together layers, especially around the bridge. Every time I took a step I could feel and hear the glue used.I initially though I got a bad batch so I exchanged these for a new pair and they had the exact same issue. I returned these and have given up. These are too expensive for that kind of low quality.
They were extremely uncomfortable, even though they looked amazing. Having read online reviews, I decided that I would return them as it sounded like it would take months to brake them in - and I didn’t want to put my feet through that. I bought them online but returned them to a Bristol store where the staff supported me to by their leather equivalent - which I love. I decided to sacrifice my ethics (I am vegetarian) as it sounds like they would last many decades. As they are leather, they will eventually biodegrade unlike their vegan cousins that are made of plastic. They are so much more comfortable !
I really like these boots. I was very surprised they fit. I have wide feet. I will have to get them stretched though to help with the “break-in” process. I don’t like the flimsy shoestrings they come with, so I’ll have to buy new ones. I hope as time goes by the leather doesn’t start scrunching up. I don’t that look. Nevertheless, I am pleased with my purchase.
I have several Docs, all in 44 EU size, all bought in stores. I ordered Vegan boots in the same 44 EU size but the shoes were too small. I compared side by side other Doc (1460 Smooth) and the Vegans were maybe 1-1,5 cm shorter. Few days later I bought the same Vegan in 44 EU size in store and they fit. Maybe there’s worse Quality Control, I don’t know but it’s terrible customer experience when the same size is not same size.
