Mercola's Krill Oil is phospholipid based which is supposedly more bio-available than triglyceride based Omega 3 products. It also has the bonus of 2mg of Astaxanthin, a brown glass bottle to preserve potency, and a hermetically sealed capsule to prevent oxidation. You won’t find those in other krill oil products, so this one should be a little more expensive. I pay what they ask. I trust the quality of this product more than I trust the quality of other brands, especially for krill oil or fish oil.Ignore the reviews that say that other brands have many times more omega 3s for lower prices. Read the fine print and you'll see that the contain roughly the same amounts of EPA and DHA.

I have taken Dr. Mercola’s fish oil daily for several years. Excellent quality and no fishy taste. Like other fish oil, they should be stored in the refrigerator. I take a handful out and keep them in a smaller container with my other vitamins for the week. (I take one in the morning and one at night). I have never had a problem with them leaking, but I wonder if that is due to Vitamin Shoppe’s storage of the product, as I purchase mine directly from Dr. Mercola’s website and put them straight in the refrigerator.

My hubby & myself had been taking this krill oil for a couple of years at least. We switch from fish oil to this. Quality is good as it helps with our knee cap pain w/o the toxic ingredients like mercury found in fish oil. Now we are only taking 1-2 capsules everyday for maintenance. Our bottleis always kept in the fridge for freshness since we are in a hot & humid country all year round. Hope it helps… Thank you.

Have been taking it on and off as krill oil tends to be less polluted than fish oil. Have trust on the quality of this brand. Taking it to stay healthy and I’m not the type who feel the difference as it’s for health maintenance instead of expecting a big change.
I have been using Dr. Mercola's Antarctic Krill Oil for a few months now, and I am genuinely impressed with the results. The omega-3s bound to phospholipids have made a noticeable difference in my overall well-being, particularly in supporting my joint health. I also appreciate the added benefits of 2 mg of Astaxanthin per serving, which seems to boost my energy levels and enhance my skin's appearance. Another important aspect is the product's sustainability, knowing that the krill comes from a certified fishery that follows responsible practices. Taking two capsules daily with my first meal is convenient and easy to incorporate into my routine. I highly recommend this dietary supplement to anyone looking for an effective and eco-conscious omega-3 source.
I've spent a considerable time searching online for an excellent krill oil. Due to the abundance of krill in our oceans, health benefits and its ethically sourced I would highly reccommend this product. To improve this product further I would suggest Dr mercola to reduce the size of the capsule, as each capsule is roughly just over half full or add more krill oil to each capsule. Other than that it's brilliant!
I just opened the new bottle I ordered (a new brand for me), dumped a few out on the bed to put in my pill dispenser, and realized that the capsules were leaking, leaving me with a hand that smells of fish and a bed sheet stained orange. Maybe it's a wonderful product, but I was so disgusted, I just want to toss them.
This one has a smaller capsule size compared to those from nordic which can be hardly swallowed. I like the fact that it got some astaxanthin in it with some krill oil that is more stabilized. The size and dosage are quite suitable for my small-sized dog so I just give her one pill each day. So far so good.

Dr. Mercola - Krill Oil - 60 Capsules
Antarctic krill oil has a unique secret weapon that makes it a top choice over fish oils. Unlike fish oils‚ krill oil carries its omega-3s‚ EPA‚ and DHA‚ in the form of phospholipids – liposomes or little packages that deliver the fatty acids directly to your body’s cells. This helps make the omega-3 fats in krill oil more bioavailable than those in fish oil to help improve your omega-3 to omega-6 ratio. With Mercola Krill Oil you don’t have to be concerned about potential contaminants and pollutants often found in fish oils and certain fish you might eat. Because krill are at the bottom of the food chain‚ they don’t accumulate pollutants like other fish species. And the krill used for this Krill Oil come from clear‚ pure Antarctic waters.
