First off... I'm not a man, I'm a woman... however, I'm pretty sure that a man's foot is the same shape as mine so I don't really get the whole gender specific insert thing. Regardless, I am also in the Heavyweight Champion club... I'm about 280 right now and I was determined to find really good inserts for heavier people. I got these just today and I cut them to the right length and they fit beautifully in my shoes. I walked around a little bit and, because I just got them I can't really review how well they work yet but they're way better than the super flat nothingness that was in my shoes before so I'm happy. Maybe my knees will stop being so p.issed off at me now for continuing to buy these stupid canvas shoes that have no arch support whatsoever...

Look no further. If you are on your feet for 8 hours a day and are over 200 lbs, these are a magical find. I am a woman with size 12 shoes so I just cut these to a mens 11 and they fit my shoes perfectly. I worked the first day at my new job on concrete floors, thought I was going to lose my feet and legs from the pain (a little dramatic I admit, but I still was sore two days later). Wore these on my second day and my feet were tired by the end, but nothing like the first day! No pain, just aching by the end. My feet felt way more supported and so much happier.

I really liked the Dr. Scholl's Pain Relief Orthotics for Heavy Duty Support. I am a medic and am often on my feet for twelve hours a day wearing boots. Finding comfortable boots isn't just a luxury but it's essential for my work. When I received my Orthotics, I was at first shocked by how large they were but they have cut outs for standard shoe sizing. I double checked that my Orthotics would fit into my boots prior to cutting them and noticed that the sizing was slightly off which made the cutting more difficult which is why I took one star away from the review. Besides that I've used the Orthotics for a number of days now and they are pretty comfortable overall. It did, however take 2 or 3 days to get used to having something inside of my boot other than just my ... MoreI really liked the Dr. Scholl's Pain Relief Orthotics for Heavy Duty Support. After becoming used to the Orthotics being in the boot, they are very comfortable and definitely reduced the foot and leg pain I used to get towards the end of my shifts. This is the first time I have ever gotten Orthotics for my feet and I would recommend them to other people that are on their feet all day and move around a lot.

Have bought other Dr. Scholl's products in the past and they have not lasted long. I went online to find other insoles and I found this insole and after reading the info I went to my local Walmart store which is 5 minutes from my apartment. Went to the pharmacy area and found the Dr. Scholl's section. When I couldn't find this insole I asked for some help and I was told I could order these online. A few days later I was shopping and when I stopped for lunch I mention the Walmart story to my server she replied "why not go across the street to the Walmart Grocery Store." I didn't know there was a Walmart grocery store. Finished lunch went across the street and was extremely happy to find these insoles. I am close to 200 lbs. because I work out and run. I found that no matter which sneakers I wore when I ran, my foot was still very uncomfortable and I felt each step I took. After using the Dr. Scholl's & Pain Relief Orthotics for Heavy Duty Support, my feet and legs feel like superheroes, and my lower pain back is now gone. The arch guard definitely helps by reducing impact when walking or running. The best part of this orthotic is that is made to fit all kinds of shoes, from casual to work boots/shoes.Overall, Dr. Scholl's & Pain Relief Orthotics for Heavy Duty Support is something I personally and highly recommend if you are suffering from lower back pain from standing on your feet for hours at a time. Highly recommend!
I'm a night shift hazmat truck driver with many stops each shift so I'm constantly getting in and out of the truck and on my feet at each stop for 30+ minutes. Needless to say, I have a lot of lower back, knee and foot pain, so I opted to get these heavy duty ones instead of their other ones. After wearing these for about a month, the pain is still there, which I expected, but it is much more tolerable and I noticed I'm not having to take breaks as often.I'm a size 12 shoe and these were a bit large, but they had markings on where to trim the excess off. I did feel that the markings aren't 100% accurate so I trimmed less than the marking I needed. One fit perfect, the other needed more taken off so I would strongly suggest to trim less than what you need, see if ... One fit perfect, the other needed more taken off so I would strongly suggest to trim less than what you need, see if it fits in your shoe and then trim off more if needed. For comfort, it was a bit odd and slightly uncomfortable at first but after about 10-15 min of walking they felt fine. You can definitely feel the support in the heel and on the inner part of your foot and they dont seem to be wearing down so far. After wearing them for a month they are very comfortable and I can see them lasting 6+ months at this rate.Overall I'm very satisfied with this product and once these wear out, I'll 100% be buying another pair to replace them.
After trying sevreal diffrent pairs of Dr. Scholls insoles that were avalible at my local Walmart. I came to the concluaion that these are the best they carry for the money. Although I cant say that they offer pain relief. They are kinda comfortable. Claims for men over 200lbs. Think they ment up to 200lbs. Because they are pretty thin in the toe region. Most insoles are. It would be better if they made a pair deaigned for men up to or over 300lbs. The biggest con is duribility. They just dont last. At this price what do you exspect. These are best for people on their feet for long times througout the day and for walking.
LESS SUPPORT THAN IT USED TO BE. I used to use these and got them recently because there was a deal but upon first feeling the heel support it was obvious that there's less cushioning, and yet they still list it as the Mens 200+lbs Heavy Duty. I'm debating to even try them since I'd have to trim to fit, I may just return them. Not only are they going for the lowest quality but price has increased, I doubt I'll be buying them ever again. IMO we can erase the name Dr. Scholls as any kind of quality brand from our minds, like so many companies they are just riding on an old image when the actual quality of the products keeps going down probably with little regard to supporting peoples health and well being.
I've had bad feet (and back) for years and have been suffering a lot lately. I finally decided that something had to be done. After doing a bit of research, I learned that people with flat feet need to consider an insole with arch support. From my own experience, I've also learned that cotton socks and insoles with a rough surface are a problem in the making. With these things in mind, I thought that Dr. Scholl's Heavy Duty Support insoles might be what I was looking for.Upon receiving them, I looked them over and was impressed by the quality. I especially liked the smooth (low friction) top surface. The inserts installed without cutting in my size 13 shoes with no slippage whatsoever. In walking around I felt immediate relief. I was initially concerned that the arch support might be uncomfortable, but that was not the case. FWIW, I took care of a squeaking problem by removing the inserts and sprinkling baby powder in the shoes and on the underside of the inserts. This has proven to be one of my better purchases and I'm now a Dr. Scholl's fan. Do yourself a favor and try them out.
I have been wanting a new orthotic for my steel toe boots at work, and this one is PERFECT for them! I work at a job where I have to be in a factory some of the time, and it means being on my feet for long periods of time. My feet and back get sore and achy, but after putting in these orthotics, I haven't had as much of an issue. I have noticed a big difference in how I feel after being on my feet all day! This product is designed for men on the heavier side, but I think anyone can use them. They come with an arch guard and a shock guard too. It distributes weight evenly and it also reduces impact when your foot comes down. It provides really good support and that is very important when you are on your feet all day.It is also very easy to trim this orthotic so ... If you are on the heavier side and on your feet all day, make sure to try these because it will help you feel a lot better.
