Ages ago when I was a college student I first met this comic and yes, this may be dated but feels still new!!This is the original series of Dragon Ball series and after this series, from Dragon Ball Z, the true character of the original series is somewhat lost. Just too much of muscle verses muscle fighting endless meaningless battles. This series is the best!!! Dragon Ball, you can see young Goku at his best. Highly recommended!

The origins of the cultural phenomena Dragon Ball Z. Dragon Ball is a comedy-action adaptation of the Journey to the West story infused with the art style Akira Toriyama has became famous for. While many of the stories sexual references have not aged well and make the series less appropriate for it's original younger demographic, it is still a very entertaining read. The VizBig format is also the best way to own the original Dragon Ball series, while scenes of nudity have been altered this format has the largest and highest quality paper stock of any Dragon Ball printing. This series is a must-read for any fans of the manga format or Dragon Ball Z franchise.
