Dreamaker Delano Fleece Top Electric Blanket (King Single)

Very satisfied with my Dreamaker fleece electric blanket purchase from T&W. It is soft and comfortable; the fleece seems to hold the heat for a long time. Very straightforward ordering, and speed of delivery was impressive: ordered Saturday, arrived the following Tuesday in Newcastle NSW. The 3 beeps at turn-on is a bit irritating, but trivial.

Delivered promptly. Very warm and fluffy cover. Fits bed well. Controls easy to manage. Very pleased with it. Would definitely recommend this product to my friends.

I always have a mattress topper on my bed especially on an electric blanket as I find them hard to sleep on. However I was genuinely surprised that the electric blanket on its own was enough. It was soft and cozy and doesn't necessarily need a topper. Only thing is I am not sure how the switch works. I think a little help in that area would be appreciated, but other than that would highly recommend the purchase.

We love this electric blanket! The size is accurate, as we have a super king bed with a pillow too, I wasn't sure it would fit but it fits perfectly. The fleece top adds a lovely softness that makes bed extra cozy and inviting. Heating works brilliantly even on low settings keeping us toasty on cold nights! Don't know why I waited so long to get an electric blanket!

Perfect size. I bought a queen for me an a double for my mum. It fits perfectly. The skirt that goes under the mattress is ver generous. The controls are in arms reach. It was shipped early which was unexpected but a bonus

Really excellent value. Hard to find a long single size in an electric blanket. Love the fluffy underlay material as very comfortable and feels warmer and means you can't feel any of the heating elements. Controller very simple.

A godsend to my aching joints. Usually I just put a tonne of blankets on and sweat it out in Winter, but now I can actually sleep with less pain constantly waking me and no sweaty sheets. Only issue was you need 2 wall plugs for the 2 sides and cannot use extension cords, double adaptors or powerboards as they might overheat, which can be tricky if you only have the two, but other than that I am quite pleased with my purchase

Generous skirt and easily fits the bed size you've purchased it for (mine was Queen). The wool is soft & cosy which provides an extra layer of warmth. A good range of settings - takes the chill out of your sheets before you head to bed on the setting. Doesn't get as hot as my previous blanket on this pre-heat setting but I actually prefer that.

Don't buy it. I regret it.

Worst electric blanket I have ever had and the top is a nice feel. I have the king size one. Where the controller connects on the blanket, the top, it regularly bruises my arm or I "catch" on it. The controller is the worst. It can't be locked on a heat, it cycles down to the lowest heat very quickly and it can't be stopped. No timer. Doesn't get vey hot either, not compared to other brands. I regret this purchase. I tried to save money but this blanket is pretty useless to me and now I'm going to buy a better one and create more rubbish for the world unfortunately. I gave 1 star because I think the heat function is useless. I like the top feel but it's useless to me if the controller doesn't work as one would hope for.

This size is extremely difficult to find so options are very limited. Previous standard size electric blankets have had a removable fleece topper making washing easy, and has had 9 heat settings with a foot zone and a timer with several options for shut off. This one has a fleece topper but it is not removable, and although have the impression of an included timer, it is merely an auto shut off after 10 hours continuous use. Not what I was after at all. Having said that, it heats, with a boost function.. which unfortunately reverts to setting 1 when the boost has finished, unlike previous which reverts to your chosen number setting. But, it fits a long single bed which is your only option if you own a split king adjustable bed, and as stated this size is almost impossible to find with anything but basic options, and also means that the controller is in the wrong side for one side of the bed...meaning one side has to have the blanket on the bed upside down or have the controller at the foot of the bed instead. I don't think Australia have caught up with the whole adjustable bed thing yet, and the fact that they are a king size bed split into two separate mattresses, thereby not realising you need 2 blankets with controllers on opposite sides to fit correctly. However these were really our only option. Have only used it once, as we are no longer getting very cold nights, and it warmed the bed, where our previous blanket with 9 heat settings almost gave you 2nd degree burns on high.. lovely on a freezing night to get into. I'm sure they will take the chill off the sheets but not make you super toasty. Again, no other options. Maybe one day a manufacturer will realise there is a huge gap in the market and start manufacturing one to actually fit these beds and give them the deluxe options available on regular sized mattresses.
