I didn’t realise, but you have to disassemble the whole handle to get it on. I bought it for our front door in an apartment and you need a locksmith to adjust the handle/lock. So it doesn’t work for us unfortunately.

Little bit hard to open and close but pinch near the base of the lock and it works
These are great for keeping a toddler out a room but they dont last long before the crack and snap.... would of been great if they were a diffrent material.
I brought this to keep my son inside his room at night because he kept waking up early and opening his door at 4am. It's worked a treat. It's on the outside of his bedroom door and he cannot pull the lever down to open the door, he's sleeping better and less grumpy during the day. The plastic is nice and strong and good quality. You assemble it behind the door handle, there is no glue or drilling required. I will definitely be getting more when my other children get old enough and start doing the same thing.

Once this was in place there wasn't enough thread left to reinstall the door handle. Therefore it couldn't be used. You would have to check your handle if this would work for you.
Can be a bit stiff to latch or unlatch sometimes. But it’s super easy to use and a worthwhile investment!
Not sure how they’ll be in the future but it has solved the problem of a curious 18minyhbold that loves to stick things down the toilet. The latches are very strong to engage, to the point it was almost keeping my wife out of rooms also!
