Dreamer by Versace Eau De Toilette Spray 3.4 oz

This colognes sprayer does not work and the product smells like a watered down version of some other cologne. It doesn’t even resemble the Versace dreamer. The other two colognes I got were on point. But this one was terrible. It’s 100 percent not the dreamer. The givenchy pi and the dunhill red were the correct smells and work perfectly fine. All 3 were purchased with perfume empire on the same order

This is a true unisex perfume. Initially bought for my husband, but I just love it so much, I am using it more than him. I get compliments all the time. To me it smells very fresh , cool, collected. Not in your face, overpowering, but it is there , it is present and it is very pleasant. Don’t know how to describe it but it is a must try. The price is very affordable too, especially when on sale. It will always be on my collection.

The opening was strange to me. And the dry down was definitely floral but something about the tobacco flower accord made me feel uneasy. It’s not a bright and cheery floral. There’s something more dark about it even though it’s usually seen as a freshie. I actually liked it for the first few days but the smell became more strange to me after that and I had to return it. It does last a good long time if that is your cup of tea.

The Bottle: Beautiful Greek column type design, octagonal shaped head and excellent atomizer. The 2010 version had Tobacco; harmoniously adapted to its companion notes. Something to be highlighted is that the floral nuance provides a surprisingly masculine touch. Also comes to my mind a "Fresh and Juicy Sugar Cane†vibe, weird but true. A bit old school; very elegant, simple but it doesn't smell cheap at all. It may not be a masterpiece, but it is not generic, and it’s much better than some fragrances that have been released in recent years. True story: Happened to me at the workplace.... A colleague had a little misunderstanding with this server, our relationship was "cold", but one day, he stops and asks me "hey how good that perfume smells, what's it called?" What was once an unfriendly moment, turned into a pleasant conversation. Hence the "Power of the medousa".

Highly Recommend

Unique scent that will make you stand out from 99% of other guys your in a room with. It's not loud but it is very different in a good way. The Iris note is very prominent so one would need to be a lover of iris before purchasing it. It's definitely not as bad as people in the internet have described it. It's floral, a bit powdery (I don't get the lipstick scent though) and the dry down makes great use of the tobacco note. This fragrance has been described as "art in a bottle" and now I see why. Even if you dont plan on making this your signature scent, I'd say its still a creative and unique fragrance to have in your collection on the few occasions you decide to wear it

New formulation?

I had bought this bottle 3 years ago and loved it. It was strong and lasted a long time. Had that wet tobacco scent that I lived.Last week I I bought 2 bottles as I thought it was a bargain and had lived the scent.But am very disappointed as the scent has been watered down! Didn't smell at all last my previous purchase!Didn't last long even on skin let alone the projection unlike my previous bottle.Am going to return the 2 nd bottle as not opened and will not buy this again.I know it's not very expensive but new formulation is cheap scent that is too watered down.Any one else agree ?

I may just have to order a 2nd and 3rd bottle of this right off the bat because I already know it's going to be heavy in rotation. The Dreamer is probably the cheapest Versace scent I've seen. It has a simple but classy presentation. Unlike the big scents like Eros, it's much more subdued, but it performs well enough, it won't fill a room and choke people out though. To me, it smells like New Delhi air but outside of the main centre, a dry, burning leaves smell, in a nice way. Like smoked sage. It projects ok, but as a skin scent it's so calming and smooth. This isn't a scent to wear to impress or make a statement, this is a scent you wear for yourself or somebody who gets very close to you. It's beautiful, timeless. If you enjoy fragrances, you must try a bottle, at least once.

At the price for edp this would have been a bargain but you can get edt anywhere at this price, saying that it's a very nice scent and I have bought it many times but not edt as it's a cheaper scent and doesn't last as long. Very pleased

I purchased this for my son as a Christmas gift. He specifically asked for this cologne. I was pleased with the price and even happier that it arrived a few days sooner than the expected delivery date. That was a pleasant surprise since it was a week before Christmas. My son was extremely happy to receive it. He loves the smell! I have to say this was a perfect purchase.
