An excellent and inovative

An excellent and inovative product. The click lock and sit up features are so convenient, and I've had no problems with the fitness for use of this utensil. Thinnish sauces and liquids do drip onto the work surface, but, no problem: I've found that if you turn your Clongs upside down, that same v-shape that allows them to sit up on the bench, will sit securely over the edge of your frying pan, saucepan, etc. An additional plus is that the packaging material converts to a double bookmark and a key ring; also, Dreamfarm will plant a tree for every product you buy.

Brilliant redesign of an everyday item.

Who would have thought you could improve tongs? But they have! The arms are stronger, the tong ends are rubberised and grippier, the lock mechanism doesn't engage or disengage unexpectedly, but best of all, the little kink in the arms means you can rest the tongs on the bench-top without the ends touching or making a mess.

Delightful!

I love these so much I bought one in each size. The click is satisfying and they feel like quality products. I've told several people about them because it's just very fun to say I own Clongs.

GREAT TONGS!

Was originally looking for gravity lock tongs, settled on these. These lock/unlock like an ink pen.I like them pretty good, should of went with a gravity lock, as I was originally. Good tongs though.

Love the idea of these tongs but they have problems

The idea behind the design is good, but there are a couple things I didn't like. The handle material seems a little thin and the edges of the metal feel sharp in my hand. The locking button on the end is small and awkward to use. Sometime I need to push it a couple times to lock/unlock the tongs. My other tongs are the straight handle, traditional design. Those are very functional, feel good in hand, and just work all the time.

Not understanding the hype

No idea why the heavy breathing over these tongs on so many "best" lists. Bought these through BBB. They can't grip anything slick, like say pasta (in sauce or on its own), and barely grip easier items like broccoli (if you are roasting and trying to flip it). The ballyhooed "Click-Lock" is trash. I bruised my thigh trying to get the darn things to release, and ended up using my teeth just like on my old tongs. And the built-in "rest"? Try balancing that on your counter without stopping everything you are doing to concentrate on that task. Save yourself the trouble and stick with the metal scalloped tongs, and just be careful when using with nonstick.
