Don’t ordinarily do these but my wife is 32 weeks pregnant and at the 30 week point her pregnancy pillow was no longer giving her a comfortable nights sleep. I had a quick look online to see what alternatives were out there and the Dreamgenni came out on top through most reviews and popular choices. There is a price tag associated with it and it might seem a bit extra for a pillow but I would say for what you get out of it I can’t recommend it enough, priceless really. From that first night using it my wife has had a lot more comfort and unbroken sleep, clearly a lot of thought has gone into its design. It not only keeps her in the prime left side position (but any position is good that allows her to sleep!) but it does so comfortable, and even waking in the same ... MoreDon’t ordinarily do these but my wife is 32 weeks pregnant and at the 30 week point her pregnancy pillow was no longer giving her a comfortable nights sleep. My wife just asked me what I was doing and, after I replied that I was writing a review for the pillow, she said to make sure to put that “your wife likes it lots” - lol! Sometimes I wake up cuddling the back part of it and so I can also vouch for it’s comfort.

I spent ages looking at reviews for a pregnancy pillow.. the prices vary so much, knowing what to buy at the moment when you can't view anything in person before hand is hard.I'm absolutely chuffed with this pillow!Oddly, I prefer using it back to front, belly propped on the smaller pillow with the longer pillow through my legs supporting my knees and hips. I'm 17 weeks so this might change as my body does. The back and front support means I can sleep comfortably on my side without actually having to sleep on my shoulder which I find very uncomfortable.I've used this sleeping on both right and left sides, it's easily interchangeable.Pillow case is a tad fiddly to get back on once washed but I haven't had any tearing issues like some of the reviews I'd read. Overall the product is great, so much better than just using additional pillows to prop up bump! The leg support is great for helping you sleep and its solved my back issues. You can use this in a number of ways - at the moment I'm actually finding that using the long section down my back and between my knees works best, with the short bit between under my bump, but this would be different for others. Its also really good for a supportive back rest when sitting up in bed.Only negatives are the the case can be a bit of a fiddle to get back on after washing and two covers would be ideal so you can rotate between wash and use

It's fine, but not great!
1 March 2021

There are two main issues I have with this pillow. The first is that I need an additional pillow between my legs for comfort and to relieve my SPD.The second is that at 20 weeks I am still waking up on my back while using the pillow. However, with an additional pillow used to support between my knees and ankles, it is very comfortable for falling asleep. I find lying on my right and left comfortable using the pillow and that has been great. But my main issue is that I have woken up on my back several nights since using it and the main reason I bought this was to prevent that (I naturally sleep on my back). In my previous pregnancy I used a body pillow in front and behind and that worked more effectively (unfortunately I no longer have these).

More of a nursing pillow than pregnancy pillow
3 January 2022

I found that the pillow did not stop me from rolling on my back or front. As its so lightweight the front just moved across/ along the bed as i rolled - stuffing needed to be heavier to hold body movements. i also found that the back section is way to small to stop you from sleeping on your back, I had to use with 3 extra cushions - 1 to prop up the front, one for the back and the last for inbetween my kness as the pillow is to thin to prop open my hips/pelvis.

Not as good as expected
22 May 2019

I was struggling with pain during sleep and having already resorted to a pillow between my knees /legs I felt I was starting to need support around a growing bump & my back. I was so desperate for this after painful nights sleeps that I ordered next day delivery which was fantastic. However the product itself is disappointing. It's smaller than I expected and as I'm quite tall there was no way the long bit was going to be long enough for my legs. The long bit is also quite thick - I really don't understand how this part is meant to be comfortable between your thighs - it creates too much of a gap - it really needs to sit the length of thighs/ knees down to your ankles which it doesn't for me and as a result the first two nights left me in more pain due to part of my ... MoreI was struggling with pain during sleep and having already resorted to a pillow between my knees /legs I felt I was starting to need support around a growing bump & my back. The long bit is also quite thick - I really don't understand how this part is meant to be comfortable between your thighs - it creates too much of a gap - it really needs to sit the length of thighs/ knees down to your ankles which it doesn't for me and as a result the first two nights left me in more pain due to part of my legs being more raised than necessary. The thick long part hasn't flattened down either after a few weeks of persevering. I now use it during sleep to hold my position sleeping on my side but I leave the long bit to the side and instead opt for a regular pillow between my knees/legs. The cover design is terrible - a small awkwardly placed slit to squeeze all the pillow out of and in to. It is so frustrating to put the cover back on - the fabric has ripped as it's so awkward to put back on. I did a lot of research before opting for this pillow, its a shame it's a bit of a let down for me. I have a huge body pillow that I bought for half the price that I find more comfortable it's just too big to take into bed!

Not great
2 July 2022

Bought after reading good reviews, completely wrong for me. Pillow is so hard and thick it's not comfortable for in between thighs nor suitable to rest bump on. Gave me a headache after trying to rest my head on it and have a good snuggle. Back cushion is a bit useless. Just not suitable for me!

The best one!

At the very beginning I belived the pregnancy pillow is just another product what they want to sell for pregnant woman. But I wasn't right. I started to use when I was 12 weeks pregnant, I don't know how I can survive the pregnancy without this pillow. It's very comfortable and it's a must have item!

Very useful pillow, once you get used to it!
21 January 2022

I started using this pillow early on in pregnancy to get used to side sleeping as I usually almost exclusively sleep on my back. When I first started using the pillow, I found it a little tricky to place correctly and comfortably. However, have now been using it for around a month and it is so much easier and so comfy! It has worked to keep me on my side most of the night and prevents the horrible back and hip pain I used to get if sleeping on my side. My only (slight) reservation at present is the size/space between back and front - though I'm sure this will fit better once my bump is bigger. It really helps reduce the pressure on bump, back, knees and hips and relieves any anxiety over side-sleeping effectively - very much recommend!

Would not recommend
15 May 2022

Did not like this pillow at all. I have since bought a different pillow which is working much better for me. This one didn’t stop me from rolling on my back as not firm enough. Found the long section got in the way as angled and not straight.
