DreamWorks All Star Kart Racing (Switch)

This game has multiple options to play - single or multiplayer - as well as different options to open for the vehicles and drivers. The tracks are different and vary in challenge. The driver that you choose has different sayings throughout the race. It does take some getting used to the controls for the vehicle. I love the different challenges and modes available to play, including the time trial. Overall, a very fun game!

This DreamWorks All Star Kart Racing game is so awesome! My kids loved playing it and being able to choose from all of the fun characters, such as Shrek, boss baby, puss in boots, and much more! I enjoyed playing it myself as an adult! It really is fun and interesting and the graphics are really cool! The levels are not super hard to beat. My kids really love this game! I would highly recommend for children or adults!

The game feels like an inferior version of other 4 player racing games. It needs improvements especially the frame rate is noticeably sluggish during 4 player games and the graphics look more like an older mobile game. While the course selection is refreshing, it leaves much to be desired especially when compared to the other kart racing games. I think fans of Shrek would find more enjoyment with it.

This came just in time ! Days before my daughters birthday i kid you not the switch has not been touched all year long , but when I told her about it she was so excited! And played for hours, all weekend she had her switch near by i also joined and we had so much fun. I love these kind of games as they are easy to play specially for non gamers/ beginners the characters are also pretty cool , boss baby / sherek / fionna all characters i know ! Wo i dont feel so old, digital games to me are a must! Specially when your gamer is a kid because when they loose the games theres really nothing you can do so i do love the fact that this is digital, the graphics where amazing, 10/10 reminded me so much of mario kart. Get this you will enjoy.

Love the DreamWorks characters in this All Star Kart Racing, the more you play, the more you’ll unlock. There are several variety options to choose from starter pack provided so you can have choices as you race to earn more. I personally love using Puss in Boots but Shrek is awesome, too. There are options to earn in-game currency as you race, which you can spend to upgrade etc. The musical notes at the beginning of the race will give you a boost if you get the timing right and if you fall off the side, the man in the moon will come to save you. You can grab items to help yourself advance in the race by attacking another racer; and by collecting enough golden musical notes will give you a speed power up. This game is multiplayer, which makes it even more fun!

My three kiddos ages 10, 8 and 5, are having a lot of fun with this game. They're really enjoying playing with their favorite Dreamworks characters, especially from How to Train Your Dragon. My husband, the video game expert, says the graphics and refresh rate are pretty poor. He describes it as Mario Cart that you bought from Wish. If your main players care more about characters than graphics and technology, then this is a fun take on a racing game. If you're looking for quality, you're better off going elsewhere.

My two youngest children, aged 5 and 11, both really enjoyed this game on the switch. The graphics seemed decent overall, but my 11 year old did mention so glitching. The character options were cute and my kids enjoyed seeing some of their favorite characters. Overall, I would recommend this game as something fun to play with people of all ages!

Awful Graphics

This game had the potential to be amazing and they really blew it. The graphics are sooo bad. Mario Kart on the Nintendo 64 is better smh. When playing parts of the course will glitch and even disappear so you dont even know where you are going. Fix the graphics to meet the standards of 2023 when it originally came out and it would be a great game.

Cheap kart game

I wanted to like this game but it is boring. The race courses are not creative and it just feels like a cheap knock off kart race. I think the worst part is that the characters are not voiced by the actors from the movies. They are cheap knock off voices.The graphics are nice and it entertained a four year old for a few days.Anyway, this game probably will not get any playtime.

MarioKart without the Originality

This game is 100% average. Not boring, not exciting. It's fun for the kids, but not a must have. If you are a die-hard DreamWorks fan then it would be worth adding to the collection.It works the same way MarioKart works. You progress to unlock characters. Each has their own Kart, but the upgrades are different. So that is a welcome spin to things.If you enjoy kart racing games it's probably worth the money, but it better be on sale.
