They made a patch for the game and it works really well now. The game is entertaining and they're a lot of quests and an open world to explore. There is a lot of reading, so I wouldn't recommend it for young children and the controls can be a little challenging but overall I recommend this game.

The good thing I like about this game,is the fact you get to play for Spirit and it's fun,despite being directed towards children.The things I hate about this game is.A:The game lags badly,makes it almost unplayable.B:There is hardly any action,like there are no enemies,in the game.C:It's too easy,I swear that even an 8yr old would grow bored,of this game after an hr of game play.The music's not too bad though.
I seriously hope there's a day one patch for this. I'm playing on a PS4 pro. The frame drops are sickening. OG games doesn't make terrible licensed games. I buy these for my niece and I to play together. I'll usually play through and gauge the difficulty for a 5 year old. The two paw patrol games are incomparable to this. Besides the frame drops; graphics, controls are horrible. This looks like an early PlayStation 2 build. I can't recommend this until they actually patch it or if it's in the dollar spot.
Bought this for my 7 yr old daughter as a present. Very excited to play, but then very disappointed. The game continually freezes. From checking games reviews, I’m not the only one having this issue. Whenever you ride spirit, it happens none stop, every few seconds. Does not freeze for long, but spoils game play. Also the games changes fro daylight to nighttime. Try playing the night time scenes in daylight!1…impossible to see screen and no option to switch this feature off…daughter became frustrated with game for both these issues…my recommendation….don’t buy unless you want to see disappointed kids
People that have no clue made this game. Nothing is good about it. It should be a little kids game but its to advance and requires a lot of reading. Its to boring and basic for the bigger kids. They got lazy with the voice acters only reading a small amount.
My daughter is 5 and it’s easy smooth for her to understand even though she doesn’t read. Keeps her entertained for hours.
The game is a hit. Well over 20 hours played, with screen accurate graphics to help you feel like you are part of the spirit universe. a solid combination of voiceovers and text within the game keeps the player engaged. A good storyline with lots of quests.
my 5-year-old absolutely loves this game! all she wanted was to be able to play a game where she could ride horses. she's still learning to read so that is the only part that she needs help with. but this game has been keeping her pretty occupied.
