These are about as good as dremels dreadful customer service! Which in its self is a ridiculous joke! In short, if you are stupid, go ahead buy one......However, if like me you value your tools and wish them to outlast you, then do not buy this piece of junk. It is useless and you could do a better job freehanding. This will be the one tool that when a friend comes around while you are in the workshop you hide it in shame.......

I got this router table for Christmas and I'd have it's a really neat addition to my Dremel. My only complaint is screwing the Dremel tool into the table. I'd recommend this router table for hobbyists only or maybe some light DIY work.

Pros: Inexpensive, This little workstation is very handy it fits large battery dremel tool nicely, you can set it at almost any angle and is easy to use. Cons: All plastic construction, does not have lines or marks on left side of guide rail, must be bolted to table. Would like to be able to just clamp it. Overall good quality, inexpensive and will enhance flexibility of dremel tool. I recommend this item. 4 of 5 stars

Useless. First of ALL, you have to get it to fit on a table, so you are gonna need a 4 by 10 and about 40 cm long. Because you really do not want to screw it on to your work table and keep it as a permanent fixture. It has to be a removable piece and you really do NOT want to ruin your table with screw holes from the screws accompanying the router/shaper, do ya? Then you are gonna have to set it on your work bench/table to work with it, so you will have to buy some clamps and that is some extra expenses. Then you have to get your Dremel drill in, in such a way that you can easily access the ON switch on your drill. Which turned out to be problematic, because you have to shove your drill in instead of easily mounting it. Then comes the so called "adjustable guide", ... MoreUseless. As a wooden model ship builder, this is perfect!!! Although not designed for large items, it's ideal for dollhouse makers, model builders, etc. Would recommend highly you do a practice piece first on any project because what ever bit you should use, there is a slight offset wiggle from the Dremel tool that needs to be accounted for prior to using.
This is exactly what you need for anything from small time to time projects, or like myself, turning my projects into a part time/Full-time enterprise. My rotary tool is actually a Wen Rotary tool. But all things being relative, in this sense, Its exactly what was needed. P.S. , The box is my primary reason for needing the Dremel router table accessory. And I left the sawdust on the router table to show that its a workhorse in conjunction with the rotary tool. now if I could just find some decent router bits

Cons Fitting Dremel tool into the table is quite fiddly. Height adjustment is also a bit hard. Adjustment of the work guide is not smooth. I have had mixed results so far cutting soft wood and soft plastic. You need good tools. I couldn't find a guide on tool speed. It requires experimentation to optimise tool speed and feed speed for different materials. You need to push the workpiece firmly against the guide and hold it firmly to avoid "grabbing", which can be quite frightening. PPE: good gloves and glasses as an absolute minimum. Brilliant tool but you have to practice on some scrap wood for a while first. I also found the depth adjuster was easier to use by eye. Just see how far it comes through the base plate and fix at the depth you want, which is probably less than you thought. Also, much better to go shallow first and then go again a bit deeper. It puts far less strain on the motor and is much easier to control. If you want a tool that you don't know how you managed without, this is it! It does things you never even thought of until you bought one. Highly recommended.
Have yet to use the router so only 4 stars as yet. However, the tool is obviously a quality item and if it performs as well as it looks then I will be well pleased. The tool is obviously dependent on the Dremel mini drill to drive it. Mine is ancient now but has given excellent service. I fully expect the combination of the two to perform flawlessly.
bought for use making repair pieces from composite vinyl and has worked great. would do it again if needed to, you just need to remember this is not a large machine use it as designed and this should last. the only con to this point is finding a good mounting point, and the need to remove it to change the bits out
