Quite dissapointed with this to be honest. Its a little fiddly to use. On one run the egg took way longer than 5 minutes to cook. All the levels are fiddly to use and by nature of its design its quite ricketty. Nice idea that is not quite perfected.Also it looks like I cant return it as its been used to cook food. Dissapointed.

Used this a few times now and every one has been a disaster. The egg leaks out, the bacon doesn’t cook and the bread bun is rock hard. There is no timer on the thing and the whole unit becomes scalding hot and lethal. Stick to the traditional method of cooking a bacon and egg satin and save your money.

not what i expected. advert suggested you could cook a breakfast muffin from scratch. Burgers, sausage, bacon have to be cooked 1st. time it takes to do one breakfast muffin 5 mins, not allowing for meat to be cooked 1st, far too long. 20 mins for 2 people , 2 each, quicker on a stove and toaster. Don't waste your money. Worst part is I've paid for delivery and have to pay for return. Out off pocket by £12. for a product that only does half a job!

Great gadget. Takes a bit of getting used to. Made some wonderful things with it. I love experimenting with different fillings.Some possible improvements, a longer lead, inner rings could be a bit bigger.Apart from that I love it. Sadly I think I may put on some weight as I often make a second one.One small problem the lid closes before I can get the egg in.
I can't recommend this highly enough. I've had it for a few weeks now, and have used it every day since it arrived. Every sandwich I have cooked in this has been perfect. I've used it with bread, English muffins and crumpets, as well as fried and scrambled egg and a variety of cooked meats and bacon. Extremely easy to use and to clean, and takes up very litte space. I've recommended this to friends.Very impressed
This is a really good gadget for making a quick snack, but there are some design issues and institutions rewrite to do.The design issues are:1 the plastic handles on the front need the grooves taken out because food gets trapped and you need to use something sharp to clean them.2 the hinge cradle that holds the cooking rings needs to be more secure as it jumps out while moving the cooking plate a few times on me.Instructions;Don't put the top of the bun/baggle in until the egg turns from liquid to solid otherwise it doesn't cook properly and the top of the bun/baggle burns.
I fancied a change in the snack department, up came this little gadget. Ive bought 2 for us because we want to eat together. The machine heats up fast and bakes well! I used normal sized muffins,a pre cooked veggie burger,an egg and cheese- it was beautiful! The only thing is, its a bit small if one has a big eater but then they can have another one once eaten up- thats another reason i bought 2 for. The main parts are not washable but easy enough to clean and the egg ring is fully washable- no scraping needed ,its coated and just needs a quick wash. I've also bought another two as a Christmas present for my daughter, as her and her boyfriend are vet nurses theyre on call,so they haven't got too much time to have a meal but this helps to give a hot neal, fast. Great little piece of kit. Only a 4 star rating as it becomes clear upon first use that all muffins, buns and bagels are not equal. Many supermarket bread products do not fit into the sandwich maker, and I have yet to find a bagel which fits without first trimming it to size. Once you have a bread product which fits into the machine, it's great, love it.

I had to use a George foreman grill for everything when I first moved into my house because I hadn't got a cooker. I did get myself a cheep sandwich toaster from the supermarket but all the black coating came off on the toasties so I had to stop using it and this was despite spreading margarine on the outside of the toasties before cooking them. I just use my George foreman for grilling salmon and veg and home made chips and the like and the odd cheese toastie occasionally. I have 2 baby George foremans so my man can grill meat in the other one. My mother gave me some money for my birthday this January (I am now 47) so I decided to spend the money on 2 drew and Cole breakfast sandwich makers as I am sick fed up of having just cereal or just toast or just porridge for my breakfasts. On the weekend my man used to do the most wonderful cooked full Scottish breakfasts as they are complete with vegetarian Scottish haggis and hash brown and a potato scone and the odd buttery. He would have black pudding on his as well and a Lorne sausage which is a very red square flat sausage that looks a bit like a thin square beefburger the Lorne sausage it a bit gritty because it's got oatmeal in it. White pudding and black pudding are both Scottish foods and would fit into the breakfast sandwich maker in slice form but each slice has a plastic transparent ring round it that would have to be removed before putting it into the breakfast sandwich maker my man said. He's the one saying this and giving the Scottish foods a mention. Also I would like to mention I am going to make a cheddar cheese and pesto toastie in mine. Pesto especially the sacla brand makes very good sandwich fillings for cheese toasties. Also going to make a sweet one with cinnamon and rasin bagels using either the thin ones or the thick depending on what fits. Also when easter comes I am going to try those lovely hot cross buns with melted cheese in them. I have tried the chocolate hot cross buns from the supermarket and didn't like them much. Will try the cinnamon hot cross buns at easter and I will heat them up in my breakfast sandwich maker or they will have melted butter and hot marmalade inside. Another sandwich I can't wait to try in the breakfast sandwich maker is pre cooked quorn sausages in a roll with a bit of cheddar cheese. The sausages need to be cut in half long ways so they don't roll out of the sandwich and pre cooked on my George foreman grill. Once my 2 breakfast sandwich makers arrive I will do a proper review of what I think of them. I will hopefully send some photos too.
Takes a bit getting used to when adding an egg as it can be a bit messy if you push the top lid down too firmly causing the yoke to burst and pour out over the rest of the machine below. Otherwise, it cooks very quickly and browns rolls or bread nicely. Preheating the machine is a must otherwise an egg will not be cooked if it's part of the ingredients. Overall, ot's a quick (5 minutes) and handy way to have something hot to eat. Things like bacon, sausages etc., need to be precooked before adding them into the machine even when if the machine is preheated. Bear in mind thesize (diameter) of rolls, baps, cobs you intend to use in it as if they are too big, they won't fit inside the rings withput eith squashing them in or trimming the edges down to size.
