I like the narrow design as it fits in all the pockets of my backpacks. The spout lid is also well designed. The lock mechanism is a nice addition. The only flaw is that there's a lack of feedback when closing the lid.

It's my second time buying this model - the first has been with me for more than 4 years (and been through a lot, without ever breaking!). I love that you can easily open and close it with one hand, and I love that you can use the handle to hang it from a bag, for example. Very resistant and convenient.

We just bought a 3rd and 4th bottle. My 6 and 9 year olds love the lids. The other feature they enjoy is being able to see how much water they have drank and how much remains. With stainless steel bottle’s they never could see this. My only wish would be if they had a rubber boot. This plastic bottle slips out of water bottle pockets on their backpacks. We figured out how to keep it secure but a rubber boot would make this perfect.
I bought this bottle for on the road and at the gym. It’s really nice, easy to clean as you can take the top of. I like the security mechanism so you can avoid spills. Can be hard to hear the ‘click’ when you close it. Definitely would recommend!
We own a lot of stainless steel, double wall insulated, water bottles. However, I still feel like a Nalgene plastic water bottle has its place. My girls (5 and 8) love this OTF lid. It’s easy to use for them and totally leak proof. They also like the size and how lightweight it is.
I mean you can’t go wrong with Nalgene right? It’s basically unbreakable and non toxic plastic. It’s got a leak proof, secure lid that opens up without issue. It’s easy to drink out of and the perfect size for a quick walk or to clip to your bag.
The water bottle is a great size and I had high hopes as this seemed like a good light weight option. The lid is cumbersome to open and close and if you don’t perfectly fold down the metal tab thingy the lid doesn’t secure shut. Definitely not a good option for kids. It works for me but an annoying lid!
