Tried hard to think of an analogy for painting with this and came up with 'like painting with cold porridge.' It goes off in seconds so if you catch it again it drags into lumps and bumps; it's impossible to overpaint. If you follow Dulux's instructions of 'cut-in and then roller' the roller drags the cut-in paint into these lumps and bumps. Possibly the worst paint I've ever used, and I'm old! It gets 1 star for showing up.

I've used several brands of chalk paint on different projects with great results, I'm no stranger to chalk paint and how to use it and I generally love it. That said, I will never again use Dulux chalk paint. It was absolutely awful to work with. The whole time I was using it, it was either dragging and clumping or, after adding the tiniest amount of water to try and thin it slightly, running and dripping. There was no in-between. It took so much time and patience to get a semi-decent finish and even after many hours, sanding back, and re-coating, there are bits of my project that have rough patches from it dragging and streaks from it running.Considering other reviews seem to like it, maybe I got a dud can? Improperly stored, improperly colour mixed, or expired? ... MoreI've used several brands of chalk paint on different projects with great results, I'm no stranger to chalk paint and how to use it and I generally love it. This product is fine if you want the chalk effect but I felt it would mark easily as I used it on a chest of drawers. I have painted a clear varnish over it to give it some protection from scratches

Fast drying good coverage. Great to be able to buy chalk/mineral paint in Adelaide without having to order and have delivered from interstate. Cheaper than most other brands.
Sprayed this chalk paint through a wagner sprayer on furnitureAbsolutely fantastic, self levels unreal productEasy to work with, will buy again, awesome range of colours
Once you work out how to use this paint, that is shake the can really well before using instead of trying to stir it, it's a brilliant product. I didn't seal the furniture I painted because it isn't in high traffic areas, and I'm extremely pleased with the results.
Purchased a few weeks ago. It says no need to undercoat but you’d get much better coverage if you do. It dries super quick so you have to work quickly and I’m looking at my dresser and it will need 3 coats, maybe even 4. For the next project i would try the Rustoleum brand but due to being in lockdown I had to use what I could get.
Everyone is always talking about chalk paint and “how great it is” but personally, I wouldn’t purchase again. It dries super fast so you hardly have anytime to go back over and fix any dribbles. I used about four coats on my piece that should’ve only taken two. Don’t waste your money.
I used this paint in my Wagner Paint Sprayer. It covers better by diluting the paint with 15% water. Gorgeous blue colour.
If you want the very flat effect of a 'chalk- look' finish, this is a good product, as it applies & covers well. It can also be tinted to your colour choice. My wife & I used it to restore/update an old pine dresser is very pleased with the result.
