For fans of the movie and the books, this game's connection is only skin deep. While the game itself has an okay hidden role mechanism, it is detached from the intellectual property .

A new take on social deduction game. Some fresh new mechanics, make a fresh take on a beloved Resistance and Avalon. The game has a nice arch which developed well. The dune universe also add alot.

Excellent multiplayer game which is quick to learn, and fun to play. It takes a few rounds to really figure out the strategy, but the rounds play so quickly that it wasn't a problem. Within 30 minutes we had everyone at the table excited about what was going on, and really into the game!
This is not a game that you can pull out if you want a filler game for 20 minutes.Yes, it is a social deduction game, but explaining the rules and the roles and the attacks to an average boardgamer is taxing and by the time you are done explaining the rules, the people are losing interest in what is supposed to be a quick deduction game. And after spending 15 minutes to teach the game, you play the game and everybody realizes that it isn't as exciting as One Night Ultimate Werewolf, as deductive as Avalon/Resistance , or as fun as Deception: Murder in Hong Kong. The Dune theme doesn't shine either. you can slap any good vs bad theme on there and it will work.TLDR: Too complicated and Not as fun as other social deduction games.
