This game is incredibly fun to play. It’s broken into chapters, which you play through to the end and return to the base camp. I would have liked it to be more open world but I’m satisfied. The combat is a bit off as you can sometimes attack and kill enemies from a distance without them attacking or knowing your there. Hopefully they improve the AI in this game.

Bad game lol. Horrible camera angles, clunky gameplay, story un interesting unfortunately, visuals are actually kinda nice though. Haven't tried multiplayer yet and probably will not. Will recommend others to skip.

The game is playable. Sorta. Rife with so many bugs that Best Buy should bundle this with a can of RAID. The story is ok, the graphics are alright, but the hype around this game made it seem like it was going to be an epic game changer. Instead, its basically like soggy cereal, a disappointment. Don't waste the money.

Great Dungeons and Dragons game! Gameplay style reminds me of Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter. Graphics are average for a D&D game, good music, great gameplay and decent voice acting. Also the game does have some obvious few bugs/glitches but doesn't deter too much from the experience. Also includes a PS5 upgrade if you have the PS5.
I dont normally leave alot of reviews but this is the worst game by far that i have played in the last few years. Its extremely buggy, Very minimum customization. No skill tree so to speak and you will unlock all the skills eventually. Story is a bit lacking although its not really intended to be focused on that. As far as the stages go and with me being a IT multimedia major. I can tell that these stages are basically reskinned with minor changes and alterations in the stages and 21 maps available hence it being a $40 game. Which is ok. however in my opinion its not even worth the $40. If your looking for something similar. I'd even recommend Warhammer over this or waiting for the next Dungeons and Dragon game or even waiting for black friday when it goes on sell ... At this point the game is boring and bland. Rented in on Redbox before i opened mine thank God. I'll be returning this game.
This game is awful. It doesn’t feel anything like the old games. I don’t know how anyone could say that. Those games were fast paced, more like Diablo or Torchlight. This is not that at all.I like the visual style of this game but that’s it. The controls are clunky and have weird delays. Sometimes you press the trigger to attack and nothing happens. It’s like you have to press and release, count to 3, then you can press it again. It honestly makes me wonder if the developers have ever played an action game before. Like how could they make this game and not realize that the controls are totally off?I wasn’t expecting this to be the greatest game of all time but I was expecting it to at least be a competent game that would be fun enough to play through. It’s not worth more than $5. Luckily I was able to play on Gamepass before I unwrapped my disc copy. Returning it for a refund.
Really wanted to like this game as I loved playing the two that preceeded it. However, this game, imho, just falls short. It can be fun for a brief moment with friends but my experience has been riddled with bugs, glitches, and just flat out lackluster gaming attributes; sound, music, controls, outdated graphics (look at how the falg flies in camp, it looks like it was pulled from the og xbox and psone era), horrible voice acting, and just overall lack of polish.Vermintide did a better job with a lot less. This plays like a hybrid of guantlet and vermintide. You select a map, go to said teleport (same for any map you choose), fight a mostly linear path (it has branches but mostly for items), kill, loot then defeat boss. Wash, rinse repeat. You can only equip in ... MoreReally wanted to like this game as I loved playing the two that preceeded it. However, this game, imho, just falls short. Hoping Tribes of Midgard will be an overall better co op expereince. Rent this one if you can first would be my suggestion.
Very clunky movement and animations... noticed multiple bugs including a weird elevation glitch when fighting enemies. A few hours is all I could muster for this game.Graphics are really nice and there are some fun D&D callbacks and lore. This game needs quite a bit of work, would only recommend picking it if it's on sale. Does not capture the fun or quality of the previous games.
This game is great, and at 39.99 a bargain to boot. The combat system is fun and intuitive. It is so much better than Outriders and cheaper too. You can unlock more skills after each dungeon, and equip new loot. Anyone who says otherwise is afraid of a little grind. No instant gratification here - you have to work to build your character, and upgrade gear.
Definitely a let down. Im a huge Forgotten Realms fan, love R.A. Salvatore, but this game is a letdown. Wish i wouldn't have spent money on it. Its very clunky in its controls, slow in every single thing it does, The graphics aren't great, what you'd expect from a game on ps3. Do not buy it unless you're a die hard fan and just have to play as Drizzt, Breunor, Catti-brie, and Wulfgar.Good thing, you can play co-op with 3 friends...but id never recommend my friends to buy this.
