We hardly have any rubbish as we recycle and compost what we can. We use one side for waste and the other for plastic bag type waste that won’t go in council recycling bin. Use a peddle bin liner for rubbish side and an old bread bag or such in the other then just tie top and take to shop to recycle.My only small issue is trying to stop it moving on the kitchen floor when pressing pedal as we have nowhere it will fit against the wall.Great little bin!

The bin works fine, is a great size and looks nice.However, I don't like how easily fingerprints get left behind and its super annoying that I cannot have the bin against a flat surface because when the lid is opened up it bashes into said surface and does not open all the way. I'm surprise this was not factored in by the IKEA design team :(its a real shame, great look, great size, functional in that its general waste and recycling, but the finish and usability is not up to the usual practical standard you'd expect from IKEA.
This bin is perfect for our family.The bin had 2 compartments - one side daily household rubbish, other side the smaller items for recycling.Big recycling items are going straight to the wheelie bin.It looks very neat and tidy.
I love this larger trashcan for the bathroom. I have kids and there's triple the garbage there used to be. There are two bins, so we can separate the plastic waste. Highly recommend spending a little more and getting something way more useful than the tiny can that is always overflowing.
I brought this product with hope that it would help me segregate plastics and paper for disposal. However, the receptacle size is too small for most cartons and articles for disposal. Not suitable for daily use, especially in kitchen.

Not satisfied with the product - its doesnt have a holding ring for the bag and anything heavy that goes into the bag, the whole things comes out from bottom. Not a good design. I came to Ikea to return and I was told I cannot return this item as the packaging was missing. I am living with it now...
