While Duracell has always been a more expensive battery brand than most, it's also usually the best battery brand. Duracell has once again proven themselves to me. I've been buying budget batteries for a long time as they are quite pricey and batteries are not always the first source of power anymore. However, like a blessing from above, I was able to get these as Hurricane Ian continues to inch its way closer to my home. The first impression I got from this product was the "easy open" tab how easy it was to open it and very fast, Branding: Good old Coppertop - love it. And, considering that the previous batteries were Energizer, the distinctive branding helped me keep the new batteries and old batteries separate as I addressed my light mirror. It's expensive for two 9v that don't go to everyday items. I use two of them to power my cats auto feeder, so the idea of guaranteed 5 years that's on the package seems to only to ridicule the customer. There's no way I am gonna keep my eye on it for five years. The batteries work they seem to be very durable and give good power. They are reliable for the purpose of use but the price is overbearing. I see that it is worth for they do last quite a good time. Overall I am satisfied with the product and will continue to use of it considering the power and durability it provides.

I purchased the 2-pack Duracell 9V batteries for my smoke alarm. It's been "chirping" which is a clear indicator that a new battery is needed. I have arthritis in my hands and the packaging was easy to open. No messy pieces of paper to throw away, as I only needed one of the 2 batteries. The other battery is still snug, inside the package. I can easily store this small package in my cabinet until needed. Duracell is my Go To battery of choice.

I don't get it. How does one company constantly provide a perfect product without any defects? Duracell has never let me down. The batteries are always packaged perfectly and the batteries inside are never damaged or old looking. I can store these for a couple of years at least and still break them out and have no issues with their life span. I don't have too much need for 9V batteries, but we do have one radio for emergencies that has always run on them and always have us days of use before dying. I am sure these will be the same thing. The radio works just like new with this battery in it and turning it on. 100% A+ batteries

The batteries were received in perfect condition. Needed some new ones for a smoke detector and it worked as soon as I connected the new battery. The last Duracell battery in there lasted some years at least and I will assume this will do the same. I have no worries when using these batteries for something so important. I do wish that the perforated part on the back to open the package was actually two of them so I could easily pull one battery out after tearing it open instead of having to rip more of the packaging to get to one battery. It would just make it more simple. However, this is my go to brand and will buy again either way.
