Duracell Lithium Medical Battery, 3V, 2032, 4/PK

First and foremost everybody needs batteries when it's Christmas time. This came at the perfect time because just about every toy that came needed batteries. However this was more than just a battery when I saw that it now is trying to have safety features that prevents kids from harm. With having a 3 year old and a 7 month old I'm always looking for things that are going to be safe and protective. I've heard horror stories of children swallowing batteries so I was so happy to hear that this one has a security feature to open the packages as well as the bitter taste coating in case they go to put one in their mouth. Now I know we can be protected now that we have the Duracell battery to work with our alarm system.

The fact that Duracell has taken all these measures to help protect our children makes my heart happy. I will ONlY use Duracell brand for this very reason. I know from experience as a toddler mom that they will put anything and everything in their mouths, and coin batteries are so very dangerous. They are also an absolute necessity for lots of products these days so having that peace of mind makes ALL the difference in the world. I used this 2032 coin battery in my key fob and am 1000% happy. My keys also seem to work from further away and I never have to try to open my door several times before my car recognizes that I have my keys in my purse (this happened all the time with my last battery brand). I received this product in exchange for my honest review. But I’ll give it a whirl. Turns out, I already had a matching battery at home so apparently I have good taste. Duracell is a very respectable battery brand. The batteries are long lasting and dependable (I’ve tried off brands and regretted it). I would like to say I’m glad it has a bitter taste for kids - actually, I am glad…however I think my kids finally outgrow the “put everything in my mouth” stage so unless I lick the battery, we will never know if it’s bitter. As you can see from my pic, it perfectly fits my key fob (both for that matter). With Duracell, I change batteries much less frequently than before. Thanks for the free refill!

I received this lithium Duracell coin battery complimentary from @Influenster and @Duracell in exchange for my honest review. Right off the bat, I have to say how happy I was to see this product have child resistant packaging and the bitter coating. I have a 4 year old and 1 year old and am always paranoid about batteries. This definitely helps ease the fear a little. I let my in laws use this battery for their air tag when we all went on a family vacation. It worked great for them. It was long-lasting and reliable. The shelf life of the battery is great, too. Overall, it is a nice product and will continue to buy Duracell

So ironically after I received this product to test, the battery in my key fob died so I needed a new one anyway. I have been using it for a while now with no problems, but these types of batteries tend to last for years. That being said, I do appreciate Duracell’s effort for making these safer for children. I know that children can accidentally swallow these which is terrifying. The package was truly kid proof. I had to get a pair of scissors to get the battery open. I also appreciate the bitter coating that is supposed to deter children. I didn’t lick the battery to see if it really was bitter, so I’m trusting Duracell on that one.

My vehicle key fob notified me the battery was low. I replaced it with a off brand competitor I purchased online. However, my car kept giving key proximity warnings and suddenly wouldnt allow me to use the fob lock/unlock buttons. I spent some time trying other batteries from the pack and read thru my manual to see if I had missed anything. I tried every one of the batteries in a pack of 10 and eventually pulled out my voltage tester. The generic ones don't give the actual labeled voltage so while they worked in a guitar tuner they did not provided the full voltage which is actually required by my key fob. One duracell 3v battery and all my problems were fixed. Moral of the story. You get what you pay for, so buy the Duracells.

I received this product free from Influenster and Duracell in exchange for my honest review. First and what I have picture is the protective plastic that the battery is sold in. This was hard to get off and I appreciate that because I have a small child and that’s just an added layer of security. Secondly it is coated with a bitter taste to discourage small children from putting in their mouths. That also provides reassurance. We used this battery in an Apple air tag, that we put in a bracket for our small child when in large crowds. It has worked great. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing button batteries.

I know the issue of button batteries is a difficult, especially for parents or grandparents of tiny humans. @Duracell did I think the best they could with trying to make them safer. First of all it took forever and scissors to open the package. I actually tasted it to see about the bitter coating, and it’s DISGUSTING. I was rinsing, brushing, and swishing mouthwash to get rid of that taste for 30 min. I know we will never be rid of button batteries because of tiny items, but at least Duracell cares. If products that require those batteries make it hard to access the battery and the battery all taste like that it’s something. I was sent this item from @influenster to use and give an honest review. My opinion is a yes
