A Compact piece of kit

After moving from Ryobi over to Dewalt the quality far exceeds what I’ve been used to, I have 2 x 1500mm guides which are excellent, being a kitchen fitter I decided to go for the 1000mm guide it’s more compact and easier to work with on site just add the 1500mm and your good to go for plywood sheets only thing I’d say is when you buy your guide you must cut the full length of track both sides to trim the excess rubber on a scrap piece of wood Your next cuts from that will be perfect

Does what youd expect

Its a saw rail, nothing unusual about it. Works well, joins to my other rail (with an adapter) perfectly, all good.

Excellent rail

I own the DCS576N 190mm Flexvolt Circular Saw which allows use of DeWalt rails. This to me was an excellent option as a plunge saw was over double the price of the circular saw; which could then act as both. I previously bought the two 1500mm rails, which again are excellent, though the 1 metre length combined with one of these makes cutting 8' boards much easier. Plus the 1 metre rail can fit in a lot tighter spaces. If you own the 576, or its replacement (DCS579) this rail is a must.

This is a very handy length of track and is of the normal DeWalt quality

Plunge saw guide

Having already got the two 1.5 dewalt guide rails in a kit decided to get the 1 m one as 1.5 m is to long for trimming doors and sheets and also instead of having a 10ft length guide it's easier to use on 8x 4 sheets as it's now 2.5
