The product itself is just a regular pure protein powdered isolate that comes in a variety of tastes and different sizes. Sizes range from one and a half pounds to five-pound tubs; they all look the same, with different flavors of which I prefer, Chocolate, Vanilla, and Peanut Butter. The reason why I actually love these flavors is because I can add them to a variety of foods that I consume on a daily basis making it less stressful for me to follow a sportsman stricit nutrition regiment. I use Iso 100 powder with my Oatmeal, Pancakes, Smoothies, and other baked items that I love to make from time to time, and also, I use it raw without any addition as a normal post-workout shake, and it also tastes great by itself. However, it’s flavor is just an external expectation about the validity of this product and it’s importance to me as a sports enthusiast, one of the least talked about subjects in both fitness and bodybuilding industries nowadays is the topic of digestibility. To me as a lactose intolerant person, I have suffered a lot through my entire life with such products, and dairy derived proteins that didn’t do me any benefit except bringing a lot of stomach pain and bloating to me. This issue is very relevant in the bodybuilding industry as most of the diets consist of high protein portions, sometimes from sources that are sensitive to some people such as dairy and eggs. Dymatize have actually solved this problem not only by stripping out all of the lactose and fat from the product, but actually adding digestive enzymes to the product to help the body utilize these high amounts of protein and use it in the right way. Another reason that would make me also support this product is the fact that it is actually faster to absorb than other protein products, the reason behind this is that it is pure protein without any trace carbohydrates or fats that disrupts the absorption and utilization process to trigger muscle protein synthesis (The scientific term used to describe the actual process of muscle building). But what comes as the jewel on the crown to me from this product is something else, the actual manufacturing process of this product involves (GMP) Good manufacturing practices, which is a term in the fitness industry that guarantees the right practices at the facility of production, as well as the wellbeing for the people who are responsible for delivering this product to as, not neglecting the two facts of keeping the environment safe and sane, and the product free of banned or suspicious ingredients. At last but not least the product is actually the best bang for the buck as it delivers for products of the same quality the cheapest serving of protein isolate as in grams per dollar.

Artificially sweetened

Be aware: This product is artificially sweetened. If you don't want to ingest artificial sweeteners, then this isn't for you. I returned the product even though it seems like a good supplement, provided one doesn't mind artificial sweeteners. I would never have ordered it, had the description stated it was artificially sweetened. Only after I tasted it, did I realize this was so. The only way one knows from the description online is to display the photos, page over to the photo showing ingredients, and then enlarge to read the ingredients. In my opinion, this fact should be prominently displayed in the description of the product. It's not the product, it's a misleading description.

Delicious Protein Powder! No Aftertaste!

I've gotten to where I absolutely cringe at the thought of having to mix and drink protein shakes. It's always a chalky, lumpy mess with wierd aftertaste. I recently decided to try protein shakes again to try and reduce my daily carb intake. I researched Dymatize and decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did! I put two scoops in my mixer, add in 12oz of milk, shake it up and pour over ice. The flavor completely surprised me. No lumps, no chalkyness, just smooth and creamy. Seriously, if someone mixed this up and didn't tell me what it was I would never guess it was a protein shake. Tastes like something you'd see people lined up around the block for. I will definitely be purchasing more of this.

Good but not great.

I was loving the Dymatize ISO 100 hydrolyzed in the 6.4 pound bag. But for some reason Sam's stopped carrying it. I asked customer service about it and was told they don't know why the manufacturer stopped providing, nor if they will restock it it in the future.I bought four jugs of the 3.36 pounds chocolate 100% why protein isolate to tide me over.Anyway, on to my review of the 100% whey protein isolate. It clumps up when mixed with refrigerated water. I will try it with tap water tomorrow to see how that goes. As or taste, I literally did not taste anything.This not necessarily bad. At least it is not horrible tasting. I consider the taste neutral, neither good nor bad. As such, I can can chug it down without gagging. I have also tried Gourmet Chocolate hydrolyzed from another distributer and it is a bit too sweet. So this flavor does not have any negative after taste. But I don't love drinking it like I did the Rich Chocolate hydrolyzed.I hope Sam's can get the hydrolyzed version back again. Until they do, I may just have to get the hydrolyzed from another distributor.

Great low sodium low carb product

I wanted a protein powder that was low sodium, low carb and low sugar. Did some researching and came across this product. It tastes just like vanilla ice cream in a glass when mixed with almond milk. The only down side is this product does not contain additional vitamins like some other protein powders or shakes. This wasn't a concern for me though because I take additional supplements. I'd still suggest anyone try this protein powder but just make sure you take additional supplements that you may need that aren't included in this protein powder.

Hair loss, water retention and skin rash..

I have always been a person who make exercise and eats healthy. I had been buying Dymatize ISO100 Hydrolized Protein from Sams for over a year and that is really good. Easy to mix and digest. In the absence of that, I bought this product for myself and another for my sister and it was not only the opposite of the ISO 100 but we watched as we began to lose hair and we got a strange rash behind our elbows. In my case, I started to retain fluid in my ankles and it was something that had never happened to me.When my sister noticed that the same thing was happening to me, she stopped drinking the product and a week later her hair stop fall out as much. It tastes exactly like a milk and cookies flavor – put chips ahoy and milk in a blender, and I’m sure it would taste almost exactly like a Dymatize “chocolate cake batter” shake. I mixed some up with greek yogurt then later with cottage cheese to form a protein pudding mixture, and the flavor was about the same – just like chocolate chip cookies and milk! Overall I would say the taste on this flavor was a 9-9.5 for me.For non-taste factors, the macros are pretty good, but not quite as good as Dymatize whey isolates or a few other brands. 25g protein / 2g fat /3g carbs isn’t perfect, but I feel pretty strongly that Dymatize isn’t spiking this protein with filler or aminos to boost the protein gram count, so I don’t really have a problem. The whey was really easy to mix in shakes, whether in a shaker or blender, so no issues there. And the price is pretty fair in my opinion as well. Obviously, I got this tub for free, but $55 for 5 lbs of protein isn’t bad, considering deals happen pretty often to bring that down closer to $45 or less.

Probably the best protein shake i've had

I've been using protein for about 4 years now. I've tried sketchy protein and cheap protein.. However i'll say the sketchy protein that sells for much less generally you have no idea what is in it. I had one that I am certain was chalk and never helped me. As for cheap protein tends to have a lot of filler and was obnoxiously bad to drink. The whey tend to come from concentrate and wasn't very good nor disolved well. THIS protein is higher quality and it doesn't taste bad at all. It isn't sketchy either so i'll continue buying from this company. If your in the market buy this don't buy the cheapest thing you can find because you will get burned.

great price, great flavor

Ive been dirty keto over 4 yrs. I love this product as a base to all of my protein drinks. It keeps me full and does not affect my stomach. I’ve lost tons of weight and feel better at 55 yrs of age. If I want orange creamcicle I use orange extract or true orange and vanilla extract. Root beer float? Root beer extract. PB Chocolate use pb pwder, sugar-free cocoa powder and some stevia. Banana? Banana extract if keto and real banana if not keto. I don’t care for the sucralose however and hope in time they will use stevia/monk fruit.
