Thought I'd write this review since I'm pretty sure I bought this label maker based on the half-way decent rating of 4.3/5 stars. Like a few people on here and even more on the manufacturer's own website, straight out of the box I've gotten nothing but the !Tape Jam! error. I have tried all of the solutions they've posted--it's brand new, so there is no ACTUAL tape jam; the batteries are also brand new, but I tried another set just for fun; and I've tried the factory reset numerous times, to no avail. UGH! They do have a limited warranty so they should replace the unit, but this seems to be a common problem that you may just want to avoid altogether if you still can.

Put brand new 4 AA batteries in it and it printed 3 labels which the labels do not adhere well at all. By the 4th label it cut it short of the letters and then after trying to print 3 more, showed a low battery status. Looks like this is a common issue with all the 1 star reviews. Looks like this product needs to go through quality control again. I was contemplating getting the same one but after reading all these reviews with the similar issue, I'll pass on the defective product and try a different brand instead.

This item was a must for organizing my kids playroom. Labels are easy to print, multiple font, and size options. I also think my kids love it more than I do. They have labeled everything. Such a durable item, easy to use, and fantastic price!

Bought this for our pantry organisation and absolutely love it. Its a good size hand held label maker packed with lots of features. Just have to pick your favourite colour labels and you can choose any size of font and style to use.The label maker is quite simple to use, not too hard to understand the functions and a easy press button to cut the label printed.Highly Recommend!
Like other reviews I read, after awhile it would only print half of my label. A quick trip to Google saved me money I would’ve spent on a new label maker. You can factory reset and it will work again. I also realized you have to be sure the label paper is actually in the feeder. I attached a screenshot of the steps to reset the label maker and I hope it helps someone else!
At first glance, this label maker seems very basic & straightforward, especially considering the low price. Upon further exploration, I found it has some cute features like different fonts and borders, which make it a little more fun! It is easy to use and works well!
So easy to use. I thought it would take a little while to figure it out but directions were clear and easy and i was able to start using it immediately. I personally have had no problems at all such as paper jams or batteries draining as other reviewers had stated and i was afraid to purchase. The only thing i had a little trouble figuring out was how to peel the backing from the sticker. If you bend the label in half longways it will peel off in half.
The labels do not stay stuck onto surfaces. I’m trying to organize and add more functionality to my home, and these labels are not helping the process. The device itself is good for the price but it’s not worth it when the labels aren’t useable.
I was worried because of the mixed reviews, but this label maker has been great for me so far! It is easy to use and the replacement cartridges are very easy to install. Personally, I like the keyboard, although I agree that it might be easier to type if was arranged like a normal QWERTY keyboard. I have used it in my classroom to label plastic storage containers for books and different types of paper, and so far (after about two months), the labels remain firmly affixed to the plastic containers. I take out the batteries after every use, and I'm still on the original batteries I started using. I highly recommend this label maker.
I purchased this item tonight to generate labels for my camping bins. I purchased the plastic roll for its durability. I have wasted nearly 6ft of the 13ft roll trying to print. When the cartridge is seated properly, there is a small segment of roll that is viewable. I noticed that the segment is permanently curved in a slight downward position because of the way it sits. This is counterintuitive to the way it should sit as it exits the device. The segment should curve upwards for a successful print. When the printing function begins, the roll segment works itself into a small notch chamber just past the blade (posted image) because of that downward curve.
