This is definitely an upgrade from the V8 animal. Only have the product for 2 weeks. I’m happy with the battery life and the vacuum.

Excellent vacuum the battery life is better than I expected. Even when doing thick wool carpets and floor boards. It just goes and goes. It is very efficient with its power use. Our old vacuum (not a Dyson) wouldn’t cope.
Would recommend without hesitation especially for people who have dogs. Our dog drops a lot of hair which would get wrapped around our older Dyson Animal DC44 & required constant manual removal. Our new V11 cuts all the hair & none gets caught/trapped around the head. Works great on both tiled & carpeted floors.
Bought it in May 23 in the click frenzy deal. So far, it has been a great purchase. Easy to use, and empty. It works very well.
Upgraded from a Dyson v8 (due to short battery life) to the v11 and the new v11 is a pretty good upgrade! I had vacuumed my bedroom carpet with the v8 2 days earlier and then went back through it with the new v11 and the v11 picked up a whole lot more dust. I like the Eco mode that can extend the run cycle for up to 60 minutes (the v8 ran out after 30 minutes) so I can clean the whole house in one charge
Having had a Dyson v7 for 20 years, it was time to upgrade. Very impressed with the v11. Power, both in strength and duration, is impressive. Easy to use. Another quality Dyson product.Also superb service from Lisa at JBHIFI Midland.
Bought this to replace/ upgrade my cheapo vacuum stick for doing quick clean up around the house. Turns out its suction is better than i expected. in fact it sucks so good, we are using it as our primary vacuum instead of the corded vacuum we usually use. Battery life is good enough to do medium size house, its lightweight and no fuss to empty after a good run.
Improved performance over our V8 is quite noticeable. Better suction as well as it lasting longer. The LCD screen is handy as well with choice of power mode as well as remaining battery. Can do the whole house no problem. Finally a cordless vacuum cleaner to replace a corded one.
It’s awesome, simply the best I have owned. Super easy to use and clean. All the accessories I purchased online make light work of cleaning my home. The wall attachment saves space on my floors as I have tucked it away in linen cupboard.
