When Dyson announce the wet and dry V12 submarine , I was so eager to get it and waited for a really sweet deal during 11.11 to really get my hands on it. I used to have a v6 , a pretty solid vacuum but started to lose suction power. With this v12, it comes with a very handy optic light that enables me to look at dust and dirt on the floor effortlessly. The wet submarine was also pretty good and I still have half tank after mopping my whole 1400sqft space. The vacuum also operate at a very low noise both dry and wet. This is truly one impressive product from Dyson. Good job !

I bought a Dyson V12 slim complete three weeks ago based on research, reviews and the helpful information on the Dyson website. Unfortunately the positive experience stopped there. I had issues with delivery (not called for when best to deliver and eventually just left on the doorstep despite clear writing on the boxes not to). I was away on business when the package was delivered. Travelling home I was excited about assembling my new Dyson and try it out. Alas there was no power. Tried all the troubleshooting options. Nothing. Contacted service support and they said it was the charger or the battery. Since they said the battery was in short supply I went for a new charger first. Nothing. I would understand the need to wait if I had used the machine. But….. It is brand new and has never been used. In such circumstances I would expect to be given a replacement machine at this point rather than have to wait even longer for a replacement battery. This is my first Dyson and I was genuinely excited to get it (I know perhaps that shows my age?!). Disappointed and, now, frustrated!

got a good deal for the V12 submarine during 11.11 promotion. While the fluffy optics head is excellent, Dyson’s Submarine wet roller head falls short of being impressive. It tends to oversaturate the wet roller with water and sometimes it leaves water stain marks as you mop the floor, making the floor drying time even longer. Having used for a month, it’s still a decent tool for mopping hard floor if you can overlook the marks. It’s pretty easy to clean which is a plus point. However, given a chance, I would just go for the fluffy optics V12. Hope Dyson can improve the wet head roller with subsequent versions.

Overall the product is so much better than my previous V8!that I have served so well. The V12 is really awesome and the features are just remarkable. The machine basically is awesome and does what it is supposed to and it does an awesome work!Nonetheless, the only flaw that I am a little disappointed is that the “dust chamber” is somewhat not to my expectations, this is because the debris does gets stuck in and does not gets out of the chamber easily. Human hair will also get stuck inside and we technically have to remove the whole transparent chamber and use your fingers to remove it, this is my disappointment.
It’s closed a month, I was impressed with the laser reveals micropic dust as well as the function for wet cleaning. Soon I started using it, it was nice with its weight compare to V10. Yet, I was disappointed when using the normal power when using daily cleaning. The power suckion is kind of weak especially having the laser can see clearly, unless I always have to turn on Turbo power, which I found that may harmful the new battery. Moreover, the Submarine Wer Roller header, I rinsed it each after used, and dry it under sun. It still have odor smell, now I don’t even feel like using it.I am a fan of Dyson, but kind of disappointing with V12 Submarine I bought this time.
I have been using this product for a month and I would recommend it. Firstly, the vacuum with light does show very clearly the dust. Very good innovation. Vacuum power is adjustable - I use it on Eco(Auto) mode and it tells you power/time left. The particle size info is a bit redundant. Secondly, the mop function is very good as it uses clean water to mop and flushes out dirty water. However, the mop has to be dry before use or else water streaks will appear. It takes 2 days to dry the mop head under full sun. Also, the battery full charge is 35-40 minutes. After vacuum a 1000sq ft floor area, there isn't power left to mop. Charging takes 3.5 hours. A second battery would be handy.
