Since replacing the original battery in my Dyson V6 Animal with this one, my vacuum is working better than it ever has. Not only that but the cost was less than half the price of a replacement through Dyson. Shipping was fast too. If you're thinking of purchasing this battery don't hesitate.

The new battery arrived safely packed and undamaged. I was not able to make the replacement my self. I was not able to find the correct position for one of the two screws. I sought help from a local vacuum supplier . Now all is working fine. Thanks.

I ordered a replacement battery for my Dyson stick vacuum. The ordering process was simple - it was obvious which battery I needed and so much cheaper than going direct to dyson. I remember thinking that it wou”d only have to last a quarter of the time to still be more economical.Perhaps the biggest surprise was that it arrived 2 days later!Unbelievable!Keep up the great work!Kate
My wife was truely happy that her Dyson was working once again after 1 year standing still. The battery was a great fit in the V6 and having the 4800ah size is so much better. This size still allows for the unit to still fit into the wall charger bracket. Happy with the service
While visiting a friend the presence of a vacuum which was "lent from a neighbor prompted he question "where is your Dyson(DC59)"."Its had it. Only lasts for a few seconds. I'm about to get a new one with my points(260,000)((5 return flights to Thailand!!))"On inspection I suggested adding a battery to my own order(DC58 battery & filter ) with Battery Mate. The filters were on a 2 for $11 deal and the whole lot arrived in two days. After fitting it for them I asked them to time how long the charge lasted using "Boost" mode. He reported 60 minutes by text message , quickly followed by a correction "6 minutes".Dyson advise that their genuine batteries will power a DC58 & 59 for 20 minutes or 6 minutes in boost mode. At 1/3 of the cost so can Battery Mates.
The battery fit perfectly but unfortunately the filter did not fit the V6. So my vacuum still does not work. After inquiring with Dyson a bit further I found out the V6 is considered a vintage range vacuum and they haven’t made parts for this vacuum for a while. So it was a waste of money buying the battery.
It is hard to give a definitive review of a battery after just one week. Yes the transaction was easy, the battery arrived promptly, it charged up no worries and fitted into the Dyson vacuum as advertised, four stars. But to give a proper review would take time to evaluate, what’s it like after numerous recharging, does it still hold it’s charge etc.
