You get a large doe foot applicator that has a lot of product on the wand once you remove it from the bottle. At first I was concerned that the concealer is going to be too drying and enhance my texture but the key to using this specific concealer is to apply a small amount only. You don't need much of the product anyways since it is full coverage. I have found that for my under eyes, the warmth of my finger blends it out better compared to a brush since the product does dry down fast. This is going to sound crazy but once the concealer dries, I didn't notice product settling into my lines nor feel the need to powder my under eyes because it already feels "set" if that makes sense. Since the rest of my face is oily, the product felt easier to blend because there's that slip from my natural oils and SPF but I still need to work in sections to avoid random spots. I have dark acne scars and red active spots and this concealer covers them up so well making my skin tone appear more even. I have tried layering the concealer over itself to see how the coverage is and I will caution that it can make your skin look cakey and heavy and sometimes it even lifts the initial layer despite being dried down already. I don't have dry skin but do have those flakey acne scars that are peeling around the edges and this concealer makes them appear more horrible than they really are. If you have dry skin or any dry patches, avoid this concealer. In terms of longevity, this concealer is crazy awesome! Once set with powder the coverage does not budge or fade despite my natural oils breaking through. I don't find that it dries out my skin throughout the day either (especially under my eyes) despite lasting so long. Finding a shade suitable for me was the most difficult part about this concealer, that's why I took a star off. I loved how it performed but the oxidation of these concealers are like night and day. After many trials the shade "Medium Sand" suits my skin tone the most. When swatched "Medium Sand" looks like a "light" color not anything "medium" to it but in few minutes the color begins to oxidize matching my skin more. I recommend going with a shade lighter than you'd think due the product oxidizing. So far I have not experienced any new breakouts or irritation from this concealer. It's affordable and you don't need much to cover your face so it should last for a long time.

I so love e.l.f the make up and skin care has improved so much in the last few years its amazing. It's starting to knock spots off some of the other higher priced makes. At such an amazing price for all of their products. The packaging is never over the top, just what's needed to protect the product. The concealer has no smell ar all, which is great as I use it for my almost permanent black lower eyes as I have injections around them every 6 weeks, so normal cover won't work for me. This concealer is great value for money. The tube contains a lot of product. With that in mind, like others have said, the product comes out easily, you need to keep the bottle upright and use the back of the wand to apply. First time using, I applied far too much and needed to remove and start again as it does come out thick. The finish is matte, I was hoping for a dewy finish as the concealer is ‘hydrating’. I have very dry / flaky skin which product generally highlights, however, this does not so definitely good on the hydrating front.Coverage I think is excellent. Hard to color match, but worth the price!

I typically use Tarte Shape Shape creamy concealer but wanted to try ELFs hydrating camo concealer since it has been raved about as a dupe to shape tape. I did the ELF website color match - I wear 16N in Shape Tape, and the ELF website color matched me with the Camo Concealer Medium Peach which was a horrible color match to the Tarte 16N. I returned it and got the ELF Fair Rose shade which was better but still lighter than the 16N, but I can handle the shade difference since it is closer to my skin tone even if its not an exact match like the Tarte was. I will use this up and then maybe try one of the neutral light shades next instead of the Fair Rose which is a cool shade. I only wear concealer under my eyes, no foundation, so the blendability is a must for me so that it looks more natural and not so make-upy since I do not have a foundation to blend it into. I'm sure as the brand adds more shades the color matching will get better/easier! It looks so smooth and has produced the most seemless look ive ever accomplished (i do not like to heavy makeup and dont do full coverage).I use the skin tint, then foundation, then the concealer and the combo of the three is perfect for me. I do use a much more expensive setting powered and (a much more affordable) setting spray that is also very hydrating and does wonders in smoothing everything out and practically making it look like im uskng a filter.In the end it is about finding the products that work well for you and are the perfect balance for your skin tone and type.I will add that when my first bottle was practically empty i did notice a separation in color (same with rhe foundation) bur was when I was literally struggling to get what i could out.
