A Suntour XCM 100mm travel suspension fork with hydraulic lock out gives smooth control over broken ground and enough bounce to soak up the hits. Powering the ebike is a light and unobtrusive Bafang 250 watt electric motor positioned in the rear hub. This keeps the centre of gravity low - for stable handling when descending on fast trails and when navigating technical climbs. The torque of the rear hub electric motor coupled with the Shimano 7 speed drivetrain will give you all the range you need for riding the full hill. The E-Trail 1 is powered by a high capacity and fast charging Samsung 36 volt 10.4 amp hour battery pack, internally mounted into the downtube of the frame. This elegant design really lets you feel the bike when riding. Choose your level up to 25km per hour on the handlebar mounted display unit, and power through up to 70 kilometres of assisted riding on a single charge. Tektro mechanical disc brakes give reliable stopping power and control. These well priced discs perform well in the mud and are easy for riders to maintain.
