The second generation of Schuberth adventure helmets, the Schuberth E2 motorcycle helmet, offers the comfort of a flip-front helmet with the look of an adventure helmet. It features P/J double homologation with a new patented Direct Fibre technology reinforced with carbon shell for exceptional shock absorption and reduction in weight. A new EPS material for the inner shell offers an enlarged cavity with two densities for the main and side parts for superior impact resistance. A new seamless interior with the Schuberth individualisation concept gives the perfect fit. Enlarged spoilers with air outlets and an aggressive, streamlined shell enhance aerodynamics. Double air intake on the chin gives excellent ventilation with a replaceable and washable filter. A new removable and 3-position adjustable peak with memory function looks great, and a new chinstrap for increased comfort in the neck area with (AROS) Anti-Roll-Off-System. The E2 also offers an increased field of vision thanks to the "CityPosition" and the V-Lock of the sun visor. Reflective detailing maximises night visibility without detracting from the helmet's design. This is also compatible with Schuberth's "Plug and Play" retrofit of communication systems based on the Sena 50S with pre-installed HD speakers, mesh antenna, FM radio antenna and Bluetooth antenna. A ratchet closure system is ultra-secure and easy to use.

Excellent helmet. Added SC2 Communication and it couldn't simpler. Schuberth helmets used to run small. But the E2 medium is as it should be. Fits great, looks great, works great. Very happy with it.

I ordered the SCHUBERTH E2 and the SC2 communicator. The spots where the helmet lining connects to the shell are absolutely awful. There are hard as a rock and create pressure points making it to where I can't wear the helmet for more than 20 minutes or so without getting an excruciating headache. After having contact Revzilla, they informed me that there is a break in period and that the helmet should get more comfortable over time. It hasn't. I then connected Schuberth and they said there is nothing they can do. The SC2 communicator also cuts out frequently and they said that sometimes a bar that the communicator connects to can be loose and that it may cause it to cut out. They acknowledged this as being a problem FROM THE FACTORY. Very disappointing and ... MoreI ordered the SCHUBERTH E2 and the SC2 communicator. Wouldn't recommend any of their products based on customer service alone but there's also the bad design on both products. Don't make the same mistake I did. Have a $120 HJC that was a much better helmet.

Extremely comfortable helmet - expensive but worth it! I previously wore a Schuberth E1 XXXL that always had a tight binding contact above my forehead. With the new E2, I wear a XXL and it is so comfortable - reasonably quiet, but the comfort is outstanding!
Wanted to love it. The shield won't stay up over 10mph. The Modular face falls down way too easily. The visor flops up and down on the wind. The battery could be better for the coms. Comfort is good but overall I feel like I wasted my money and should have kept using my Old Scorpion Exo. I bought mine at SpeedAddicts and they offer zero support. Maybe Revzilla would have been a better choice. Oh, also it constantly fogs up even with all vents open.
Fits perfectly, with great ventilation and quieter than expected! Audio quality paired with the SC2 is fantastic, and much better than the older Sena 20S I had been rocking for the past 7 years. Visual clarity of the main visor with pinlock installed and drop down sunshade are perfect. Can ride at highway speeds on both my Pana America Special and my Road Glide Special with no buffeting or pulling even with the peak visor installed! Best helmet I have ever owned!
E2 has great fit with no hotspots like on my C3 Pro. True to size. I wear a Large and fits correctly compared to my Klim Krios pro which is too large. Definitely a wider fit than the older C3 pro. E2 has pre-installed pin lock which I took off immediately. I like that you can quickly remove the peak in 5 seconds without tools for highway use basically turning it into a C5. The visor detents can be hard to get in proper position when using one hand. Ventilation is excellent in hot weather with visor cracked open about 10mm. The chin strap is more comfortable places compared to the C3 Pro.Only real nitpick is that the peak and vents are just black plastic and not offered painted like on the C5. Makes the helmet look a little cheap.
This helmet, unlike any other helmet I've owned (many helmets and many brands), took some effort in order to make it work for me. At first, I felt it was way too hot unless you had all the vents open all the time until I realized you can take off the thick chin curtain and -- whoosh -- much more comfortable in warm weather. What's nice about that is you can also reinstall the chin curtain when it's cold and you get virtually no cold air seepage from the chin area. Removing the thick chin curtain also "fixed" the other main issue I had, the painfully uncomfortable ratcheting strap. I've never really liked them but some helmets I've had them on the comfort was reasonable. Removing the thick chin curtain also "fixed" the other main issue I had, the painfully uncomfortable ratcheting strap. I've never really liked them but some helmets I've had them on the comfort was reasonable. The Schuberth E2's ratcheting strap is located in a very awkward position and really cuts into your neck, limiting your head movement side to side and up and down -- until I removed the thick chin curtain and adjusted the length of the straps. Now the ratcheting strap comfort is comparable to other helmets with that style of strap. I'd still prefer a good old-fashioned double D-ring, but at least I'm not in pain on the bike and I can move my head in the normal range with no issues and discomfort.Other than those two issues, which were fixable, the helmet is definitely a cut above others in a few areas. This is the quietest helmet I've owned. Snap the main visor down and it's like you've just turned on noise canceling. Even with the vents open it's quiet. The venting on this helmet works great, as well. With many helmets you can't even tell if the vents are open, especially the top vent. Open the top vent on the E2 and it's like turning on a little fan above your head. The fit and finish are excellent, and even though being on the heavy side, I can wear it all day and not be fatigued. Maybe the excellent aerodynamics are what help with that -- even with the peak visor attached it moves through the air smoothly with minimal buffeting. A great helmet that, in my experience, required some work for it to meet my expectations.
2 issues neither a big deal.1 visor needs a little lube to help it go over the ridges for the last click to close.2 the caps that fill the holes left when not using the visor might as well not exist they are somewhere on the highwayVery high airflow, and visibility range of view is amazing.
It seems to be good quality product, but it is the most uncomfortable helmet that I ever purchased. All my helmets from other brands are XL and fit me well. Schubert E2 XL is heavy, way too big and loose fit. Size Large is so tight I can barely put it on. I've been waiting for this helmet for a while and it is a disappointment.
