Disappointed

I bought it to reinforce the connectors on the portable closet i purchased on here. I had it about a month (if that) and it was leaning- BAD, I was afraid of it falling over %26 dur to remodeling walls I couldnt put against a wall to reinforce it that way so figured a lil hot glue to hold in place immediately until the e6000 set (usually 24 hours) it worked for about 2 days before it started leaning again :( and NO its not overloaded. I need fo find a glue that will truely work %26 stand by its moto of being the best on any surface! these are plastic connectors with metal rods. I used about 1/2 the large tube %26 took all the time of taking it apart piece by piece %26 glueing then putting it back together. Also, my mom bought one and hers did same thing but dad was able to stabilize it with some type of metal device- so far so good on hers! Holds things together that flex or gets hot

This adhesive sets to a flexible state. I have used this on shoes that flex and hard plastic to put pieces that broke off back in. This doesn’t give an invisible repair so if you want a tight repair this isn’t for you. Examples air fryer lower outside basket was dropped and the top edge broke off and also left a cracked piece on. This held the broken pieces for years till the unit quit working. Rubber boot had a hole and this repaired it and out lasted the rest of the boot.

Mostly Great

This glue definitely did the job! It did keep everything glued together. I ran into two problems though:- The tube started breaking. Random cracks in the tube started popping out, which caused glue to start leaking all over my hands and over things I did not want glue on.- The tube was incredibly difficult to manipulate and push glue out of it.Will it work? Absolutely! The tube might just give you hours of satisfying peeling, and some hand cramping.

Overall, a great product!

I use this glue mostly for glass crafting(upcycling thrift shop glass into new pieces such as birdbaths, birdfeeders, and flowers...). It is water PROOF, so it will not come apart in standing water. It is very strong as it holds heavy glass pieces together, even when upright. It has a very strong odor and fumes, so you really should only use it outside or with proper ventilation. I recommend wearing a mask if you have respiratory problems. Sometimes, it runs when I apply it to a narrow area, such as around the rim of a vase. When it does that, I have to use a cotton swab dabbed in alcohol to push it back into place. Alcohol evaporates quickly and allows you to go on with your project, without interfering with the curing of the glue. Strong, durable, flexible, and dependable glue.

I always keep two tubes of E6000 in my home. One being 'High Viscosity' for more heavy duty projects, and the 'Permanent Craft' for more smaller scale crafts.Both share industrial grade strength, durability, flexibility, water-proofing and can be applied on a lot of surfaces other glues just can't hold. The 'Permanent Craft' has the added benefits of a narrow opening for more precision when applying and the glue not as thick as the 'High Viscosity' version allowing the glue to run more easily out of the tube and easier to spread on the desired surface. I've used it on cloth, pleather, wood, metals, stone, glass, and cardboard easily.It dries moderately so there is time to adjust before it permanent sticks. Which I love since I make a lot of mistakes and adjustments. In less then hour or so it's pretty stuck in place, and when fully cured is holds fast. I usually have to to use a combination paint scraper, alcohol, acetone, and/or mineral spirits to weaken the bond or clean up so be careful about mistakes or messes.Downsides are not ALL surfaces are safe for this glue. Some plastics and styrofoam have melted when applied. Not all but some. When in doubt, I do a test first before applying to my project. Also the fumes... use in a well ventilated area. Avoid getting on the skin since I noticed some mild irritation, but easy to wash with soap and water. I feel it's pretty safe, it is industrial grade glue so read the instructions carefully.Overall I highly recommend this. Whenever I am in doubt if normal glue will hold, I always turn to E6000. For precision and easy application I use E6000 Permanent Craft Adhesive.

The Ultimate in Adhesives!

I discovered this stuff when it was called Shoe Goo. Besides repairing tennis shoes %26 sneekers it’s a remarkable adhesive that will hold things together that you would never expect. It never becomes solid. It toughens as it it ages but never becomes hard as rock. It works on paper, plastic, wood, metal %26 fabric. In fact I never found anything it won’t work on. The longer you let it set, up to 24 hours, the stronger it holds. Just amazing stuff %26 it comes in black to.

Do you think it's right of you to downgrade a products value, simply because you failed to hold up your end? The only downside is that it is a bit strong in smell. If smells give you headaches, probably don't use it or wear a respirator while actively working on your project. The smell does dissipate over a brief period though, it does not stick around.I highly recommend this product, if your intent is to only use it for its intended purposes.

difficult to handle

im not sure why people hail this as the ultimate glue, its very difficult to use. it doesnt come out of the tube easily, i had to disfigure tube, it looks like a childs toothpaste tube. i made the mistake at putting some of the uber thick substance in a smaller bottle for the project i was working on. its not coming out, ugh!i have to YouTube how to use this before i attempt it again.i will not use this again. im mad i still have a whole tube left.is it old? does this product get old and thats why its so difficult to work with? or does it have separation anxiety?
