I have a pair of the original Gladiator sandal from Ecco and they were one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. Then I just ordered the Felecia sandal from Ecco which is now the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn, right out of the box. Because this one is a bit more snug, I'm not entirely certain I can fit my small arch support in it like I did with the Felecia either. I'm going to wear them around the house and get a feel for them a bit before I make a decision. Because I wear a 9.5 to 10 depending on the shoe style and fit and the desire to fit in a small insert, I did upsize from the website-guided 40 to a 41 for a bit more room all around and I'm glad I did. Overall - I think this sandal is a winner in many, many areas and it's worth it to give it a shot. I think in this particular case, it might just be my personal toe box that is a pause and not the design of the shoe, which is really nice.

This is my 7th pair purchased over a 15 year period of time. The footbed is amazingly comfortable and provides as much comfort as my rugged hiking sandals. Unfortunately Ecco does not offer any other options in this style and seems to be phasing them out of production. So happy I was able to get a new pair at this time!

These sandals are very good quality and pretty comfortable - without being too frumpy-looking! If you can get them on sale they are good value. (Bit spenno at full price.) Easy to adjust the ankle fit as the strap is Velcro. Nice features of contrasting textures adds interest.

I want to love this shoe....it's very cute. Footbed is very cushy...great color goes with everything and the style works with pants or skirt or even shorts. BUT, the ankle strap is too short! I can wear it but it is only BARELY long enough for the Velcro to have grip. And, just to get it on, the entire strap has to come back through the buckle, otherwise, can't get the foot through the opening. THEN it is difficult to feed it back through. WHY do shoe manufacturers insist on cutting these straps so short? Another 1/2 length on a 1/4 inch piece of leather is not going to get them another penny more profit.
They're comfortable, and they look okay--not fantastic looks-wise, but nice. I haven't worn them yet. I was looking for a nice sandal I could walk all over London in and the country and be comfortable but also a cute sandal. It's so hard to find. My last pair were Miz Mooz and they are very cute but the sole wore down very quickly, I've had Ecco shoes many times before and found them comfortable and also long-wearing, so I'm hopeful these will be, too. It seems sandals now have velcro rather than a buckle. I'm a little unsure of this, I hope it holds up. I'm fine with buckling my shoes if any market research people are interested!!
I had a hard time ordering. Needed to use a credit in account. No way to talk to anyone. A man in Help Dept was rude. Finally a female rep helped me. After two days the kindest and helpful lady came to my rescue. Please thank the rep who assisted me. I wear many excellent Ecco Shoes. Love them.
I had purchased a pair of ECCO sandals on line, my usual size...but they were too wide. I returned them at the ECCO store at UTC/La Jolla. The man working there helped me find another pair, different style, that looked like a fit, and we had them shipped. He also showed me a pair of walking sandals, the same style that I wear all summer, that were on a clearance sale, and I bought those, too!!
This shoe has saved my life. I suffer chronic pain from my lower back down my legs to under my feet when severe. I also need support everywhere so I don’t trip….I have bought it in both colours as I can even wear it for more than an hour.I made the mistake of buying Planet Earth shoes similar style, and ended up sweating in their poor quality leather sole ,and in agony after an hour … they very obviously try to copy Ecco …. The Ecco leather sole has breathing holes and beautiful leather.And I ordered my 2nd pair online and got it the next day.Thanks so very much Ecco for quality and comfort and making the shoes adjustable in every area xx
It’s difficult to find shoes to fit my narrow feet but these ones are PERFECT. They fit perfectly and they are really comfortable from day one. I’ve worn them all summer and they are in perfect state. Sad that my size isn’t available anymore, I would have ordered a few pairs more!
Best Sandals Ever. These sandals are very comfortable. I bought size 38 I am 5 4 and 130 lbs and my feet can swell in the heat and with long walks. These sandals did not fail my feet. They provided comfort through my entire walking trip. These sandals did not give me any blisters. They fit perfectly and did not stretch out. I bought these for Europe trip and walked almost 10 miles a day in them for 30 days. I even hiked in them. My feet never hurt once. I was hesitant to look at them because of the previous review, but I went to the store, tried them on and fell in love with how comfortable they felt on my feet. I really like these sandals and have bought another pair.
