Nice light weight shoes, nice design too. however the bottom sole is very thin, also back half of the shoe is very low, it would be perfect if they made back half shoes little higher (in side). then heel would be nicely levelled. at the moment, heel feel like a sink when walking.Overall nice pair of shoes, I hope they can last. but time will tell. ( i had to return first pair, as it had cracked bottom sole, very thin as well, second pair was fine)

After about 2 weeks the sole started to peel off.The shoes are comfortable to wear, but it is very tiring to put them on - after untying and unlacing, the opening for inserting the foot still remains too small, without using a long spoon (or completely untying the laces) it is almost impossible to put them on, I have already bent one metal spoon in the process. The protrusions at the top near the back of the calf are only there to bend inwards and take the whole back with them when putting them on. The loop on the tongue to hold it in place while shoeing may be interestingly near the side of the tongue, but that makes it almost unusable. From this perspective, these are the worst shoes I've ever had.

I own at least five pairs of these. They are AWESOME. Love the fit. Love the comfort. I literally said, āwowā when I put them on the first time. These shoes feel like slippers, and stick like glue.I donāt know what batch everyone got, but Iāve not had any problems with soles. These might not last as long as long as a leather boot, but thatās ok. I buy them for comfort, fit and performance. They deliver SOLIDLY for me for plenty long.

Canāt find a way to order shoes from Ecco anymore . Fit between models is inconsistent .Even shopping in person and trying them on is challenging in finding the proper fit
I'm almost about to give up on the new Ecco's. Fit is just not there anymore. The arch support on the left shoe is like a big lump pressing your foot.
Every time I wear these shoes , at some time during that time I think 'these are comfortable shoes'. I feel how my heel is held securely, but gently, the sole of my foot fits the contour of the shoe, gently, how the tread of the shoe is fiercely gripping what ever surface its on.Yes, I like these shoes. My only gripe is, there's no leather
I have a closet full of Ecco shoes. This is the first pair that has been a complete and total disappointment. The fit is awful. I wish I had returned them.
I loved this shoe. I do a lot of outdoor work and having a water proof active shoe was perfect. However, the sole started peeling off of both feet within a few months. Iām a loyal Ecco customer, so I know the quality that other pairs have. I have had other shoes that last multiple years of intense use. This just didnāt meet that standard for me. If the sole wasnāt falling apart, Iād buy every color of this shoe again and again. Itās a real bummer.
Sole began coming off at heels on both shoes within a month of wearing. Tried to glue it back on, but problem continued all around the sole. Huge disappointment.
I had/have this shoe in both non Gore-Tex and Gore-Tex version. I am surprised the non-Gore-Tex is built with a āsockā where as the Gore-Tex has a more typical tongue. In any case both look great and feel good but have almost no cushion whatsoever, which becomes quite evident over the course of a day; the other fit item of note is that the Gore-Tex version fits maybe half size smaller.Weāll see whether or not the Gore-Tex version lasts, I have my doubts as the 1st one sent to me showed defects out of the box and was exchanged right away, but in the meantime the regular version I accepted and started wearing in the summer came apart (sole) within a couple months of light wear.My overarching reason for posting this review though, frankly, is to express somewhere to ...Ā MoreI had/have this shoe in both non Gore-Tex and Gore-Tex version. Their shoes are increasingly of varying fit/comfort and questionable quality. I have Ecco shoes that are several years old and still look and feel great, but over the past year or so I have returned more than I have kept: many have no support whatsoever, others are too stiff/tight (in the same size), and many flimsy; I have received boots that appear to have been worn, and most recently purchased shoes that I kept came apart under light wear in a month or two (as mentioned above)Addressing the defect took 3 separate attempts to contact Ecco ā the 1st 2 being completely ignored. I now realize on top of that (after destroying the shoe), the ācreditā is a coupon with strict limitations, i.e. time-limited, on line only (no retail), no returns, and on one shoe only (remaining value surrendered) ā this is not ideal given that 4/5 shoes I have purchased in the past year have needed to be returned for one reason or another.Bottom line. the consistency in craftsmanship, durability, and fit/comfort that was a hallmark of Ecco seems to be evaporating. Online customer support and functionality is terrible. Ecco requests for review of shoes (links in e-mail) when clicked do not work. Several attempts to contact Ecco resulted in nothing ā simply ignored, asides from above, for example, another issue I have attempted to contact them on 3 or 4 times remains ignored to date.Bottom line. If in doubt return the shoes before you wear them for a refund, be certain.
