Once the machining burrs are filed off and cleaned this could be a solid performer.Mine arrived with a bent in the handle that makes it hard to slide the handle through the hole. Hopefully Eclipse Tools will find a way to fix it for me.

My experience wat terrible. The product was unavailable. It took Zoro more than 2 weeks to tell me and then canceled the order. Meanwhile, the Cyber Monday incentives were no longer available and I had to pay substantially more for the vice.

Lowes' customer service was great. I asked the online rep if they could give me a more specific delivery date and they immediately phoned the supplier to check the inventory. Also, the finishing of this vise is what you would expect from a good, budget-level product. I recently purchased the 9" vise. It was solid, easy to install vise and will be a durable product. After a month's use, it is working out as well as I expected.
