This machine washable Pendleton blanket is perfect in every regard. My purchase arrived on time and in excellent condition. The color and pattern were accurately reflected online. A beautiful blanket

High quality Wool blanket consistent with Pendleton. Generously sized in twin with extra length on both sides, top, and bottom making it easy to tuck in on drafty winter nights. Gorgeous medium blue color. Lightweight yet warm giving the best nights sleep without the heavy feeling on your feet. Purchased on sale so it was a great price for a great product. Added bonus is that it's also washable Wool. The quality of this product is unsurpassed and if it holds up like my Pendleton blazer I'll sleep warm and be able to pass it on. thanks Macy's for the blanket I've been looking for

Basically a Good Blanket with a few issues

It is the color I ordered and the material I expected. No problem with any odors. Can't imagine anyone calling them soft and cozy. They're wool, so just a little coarse. I washed both as soon as I received them according to instructions, even lined dried them. Both of them shrank. One is now 88x94, the other is 89x93. They were originally 90x96. I will keep them because they will still work. Don't understand why the manufacturers aren't prewashing their fabrics. Buyers need to be aware that shrinkage might occur.

Finally! Something for a hottt sleeper that works!

I love this blanket. It's light, it's beautiful and it's finally a blanket that fits a king sized bed. Most of my blankets just come a few inches off. The sides but this one covers the sides fully. If you're a hot sleeper and forgo a sheet this is ideal.

High quality but

Blanket is of high quality and washes well. Two things that you have to be aware of. First it is a fairly thin blanket. I'm not saying it's super thin but don't expect it to be the only blanket you need on a very cold night. It does however provide a very good layer if you are using two blankets on such a night. The second thing is that while not itchy to me, the feeling of the blanket is quite rough. I washed mine and used a little bit of fragrance-free fabric softener. Both the washing and the fabric softener definitely helped but it's still a scratchy or course feeling blanket. On the other hand it is washable and 100% wool . It stands up to a wash very well leaving next to no fibers in the lint screen of a cool dryer. I would say durability and longevity are A+ .

Incredible Blanket

We live in western PA and it can get pretty cold in the winter. I purchased this blanket due to the reputation of Pendleton and it is USA made. This blanket is incredible. It is medium firm and moderately heavy but thin in texture. The construction is excellent and this is a very well made blanket. I put it on the bed the first night and my husband remarked how toasty he was. We were able to remove our heavy comforter and replaced it with our lighter weight comforter. It is perfect for us on cold nights when it is -15 outside. This blanket is well worth the price and it's washable.

Love this blanket !!!!!!!

Got mine a few weeks ago when on sale and it was on the bed that day. I did have to put a top sheet under it but who cares. Its sooooo nice and warm. I went and got another one to use on top of the other one for really cold nights here { as I turn the heater way down at night } instead of the old down comforter I was using last winter with a few quilts on top of it. It was wearing out being so old. I love the fact I can wash it and hang it to dry outside . Thanks Macy for the sale and my blanket

Perfect blanket

This blanket turned out better than I expected. It is a beautiful color, and it is not scratchy at all. I live in Alabama, and it is the perfect weight for winter here. Even though it hasn’t turned very cold yet, I have not been hot under my wool blanket. I worried it might not be enough. But then we just had a cold front come through with lows down to freezing ( I don’t keep the heat very high) and it was great. And it’s not heavy-it doesn’t feel like you are sleeping under your grandma’s old wool blanket. It was expensive but I am so glad I got it!I love it!

Perfect midweight washable blanket

Overall, I love this Pendleton washable wool blanket. It has the right amount of warmth/breathability and is well-made and attractive. Only point I'd mention is that it took a wash with air-drying to remove a bit of a scent from the blanket, which may have been the result of manufacturing/dye. It was definitely noticeable from first use, but now gone, and the blanket is perfect. I have since washed it several times, and it holds up wonderfully - no pilling, etc.

Totally Worth the Price

We recently got a Tempur-Pedic split King bed (two Twin XL's). The twin size of this blanket is perfect! Some commenters said it was scratchy but hey, it's wool. Like the label says, it does get softer with each wash but I wouldn't expect it to be like a plush blanket. (Warning, wet wool smells like a wet dog but the smell dissipates when it's dry.) To line-dry it, I laid beach towels on the beds and laid the blankets on top of that, then put a fan on them. These blankets keep you the perfect temp - not too hot, not too cold. I figure I'll be using it well into the summer. Be sure to order these blankets from inside the store so you can use your 20% off coupon, you can get the $130 blanket for a little over $100.
