I started overlanding a few years ago with an entry level explorer Jackery 240. It charged my small things fine. I upgraded my rig and got a fridge and diesel heater for winter camping and now I was looking around for alternatives generators. After watching a few YouTube videos and a discount later I pulled the trigger on the entry Delta 2. This is a huge game changer because not only do I have over more then 4x the battery life, but I also have 4x the recharge cycles. This is because of the LFP batteries. Another great feature to have is the app. When I’m on a hike or in my roof top tent at night I can glance at my battery storage and that gives me peace in mind. I’ve tested this for a few weekend winter camping trips and it’s perfect for a weekend lander that needs to power a fridge, electric stove, phones, blenders, recharge lights, and much much more. It’s been powering my diesel heater for two nights at a time and it’s a champ. Although, I would love to review and use the extended battery pack giving you double the capacity and a solar system to trickle charge when I’m out in the middle of no where. I believe the Delta 2 is a great unit for weekend camping. Until another discount comes around I’ll probably hold off for now. I mean unless a company is willing to donate for a review :)

Delta 2 a beast in a small package.

wish I had waited to buy this a couple of weeks longer and I could have saved an additional $50 but this unit to me is the best of all the power banks EcoFlow makes when it comes to portability, output capacity, and price. The 1800 watt inverter is all one really needs to power most appliances for camping, van life or during an emergency. During an emergency this unit is light enough for most people young and old to carry and even those with limited disabilities. The inverter is large enough to power a full size refrigerator for a few hours until power is restored and with the solar input capacity it has you can run fridge all day long while charging it with solar panels keeping the unit 100% charged throughout the day until sundown.I would buy 2 of these instead ... Morewish I had waited to buy this a couple of weeks longer and I could have saved an additional $50 but this unit to me is the best of all the power banks EcoFlow makes when it comes to portability, output capacity, and price. The 1800 watt inverter is all one really needs to power most appliances for camping, van life or during an emergency. Ecoflow Delta 2 Max extra smart battery
14 December 2023

Purchased my Delta 2 Max with 2 extra batteries and (2) 400 watt solar panels. . That just in case we had some type of an EMP or grid failure, that not only I, but also my wife, could handle the weight and easily set up the system. That after consultation with Tom Cormier of Off grid Stores, decided this system would work well for us. All components are in a Faraday cage charged up and ready for action. This was all to compliment my natural gas powered whole house generator and two smaller units. That should there be a long term event, then most likely the grid will be down, thus no natural gas, no gasoline for the other gen sets. That along with our other preps we feel this setup should sustain us for an extended event. Great peace of mind.

Ecoflow Delta 2 Max for unexpected power loss

You canNOT use them indoors, you must run extension cords from outside to the inside of your home. Some areas do not allow you to run those gas generators after certain evening hours & through the night. PLUS most of those generators require you to go outside, in the elements, and yank on the cord to hopefully get it started. Lastly I believe in taking care of Mother Earth. If we don’t take of her, she won’t take care of us. Do I need to go into details of the current record setting Spring/Summer temperatures in the USA?With my setup, I don’t have CO2 exposure. No outdoor extension cords running through and OPEN window or door. No rope/cord to yank on to start it. To start just plug it into your home outlet (of course when you have power) it takes less than 2 hrs to fully charge it up. I have my solar panel outside (84°F) producing 194 watts for free as I don’t have to buy gas. I’m running an auxiliary fan to enhance my central AC, my home WiFi and my 16 cu foot freezer. ALL FOR FREE. I highly suggest you buy a solar panel(s) as why not power items in your home for free whenever you have sun…it doesn’t have to be hot summer sun either.Just buy one & a solar panel or two. Down the road purchase an extra battery as it will allow you more power security for a longer period of time especially when full sun exposure for your panels is unavailable.

Great Item Great Price

I ordered this on a Tuesday morning. It arrived that Saturday morning. So I am very pleased with the shipping time. I already had a Delta Max 2000, and another Delta 2 Max Extra Battery. So this completes my setup. After a full charge and connecting the system to my kitchen fridge it shows 67 hours of run time. Now, when we do have a power outage it will be connected to that fridge and a small chest freezer, and based on past experience I expect to get 33 - 34 hours from the setup. BTW I have these stacked on top of each other placed on a planter dolly that I picked up at Home Depot some months back. That way I just wheel it into place when I need it. Also, will be keeping my gas generator around should I really really need it. (fingers crossed that I don't ) One ... MoreI ordered this on a Tuesday morning. It arrived that Saturday morning. Great for power outages
14 November 2023

I bough my original delta a couple years ago. And liked it so much i ordered a delta2 and i just ordered my 3rd delta2. Right after i got my first delta 2 we lost power due to downed branches from a storm. I just plugged my 5 watt usb lights into the delta and i used the original delta to run my frige. I used the delta2 to power my cable modem and router. For some reason it still works when we lose power. These things work so good and charge so fast i just ordered my 3rd delta 2. I ran my basic power needs all night and the next day i went out and started my generator and charged the ecoflows in less than 2 hours. I was ready for another night of quiet power. Its just so easy and they only weigh about 27 pounds so you can move them where ever you need power. Makes those power outages easy to deal with.

Over should be good system for Direct Vent Furnace
8 December 2023

I haven't needed it as of yet, but purchased a month ago and sized for AC backup to a Rinnai direct vent wall furnace. Calculated the draw of furnace and sized the EcoFlow system for appox. continuous 4-days operation without wall power. Combo of Ecoflow Delta 2 power system and Delta 2 Max smart extra battery provides 3 kWh of power. Only downside is that you can't disconnect, remove, and recharge the extra battery on it's own. That's what I had in mind when purchased. That way I can keep running furnace with the partially charged Delta 2 alone, while I take away the extra battery to charge it back up to 100% and return and plug it back into Delta 2.Not the case. You have to use the Delta 2 power station as the conduit to charge the extra battery. Perfect for Tailgating
16 January 2024

We started looking at portable power stations so we could use a panini press while tailgating. Our research helped us understand we needed something that could handle the wattage which led to the purchase of the Delta 2. We chose the Delta 2 over the Delta due to the newer and longer lasting battery technology. It has been great for a 1650 watt press which we typically use for 15-20 minutes with 60% of the station’s battery remaining. The station seemed like the best value (price, power, reputation) and so far, we are very pleased. It is about the size of a car battery and although they aren’t highlighted on the EcoFlow website, it comes with six a/c outlets, two of which are three pronged.

Smart battery pack a great power boost

Smart extra batterie(s) add significant capacity to Delta 2 MAX at a much cheaper price. Simple connection between Delta 2 max and battery pack. Displays let you know what is going on with extra battery. Smart Control takes care of power out and charging automatically between battery packs.
