I bought this unit, along with the additional back up battery pack, as an alternative to gas powered generation of electrical power. I was very reluctant not to have some power generation source for emergency situations but was very uncomfortable about managing and running a gas-powered generator for many safety reasons. I watched the presentations about this Eco Flow Delta 2 Max several times to understand the ease of use with this power horse. The day my system arrived I unboxed it and had it up and running and fully charged in less than 3 hours. It's a very easy system to learn and although it has not been used yet, I'm kinda excited for an opportunity to use it. I am a single woman living alone and I have absolutely no doubt this is the solution I was looking ... Don't get caught without emergency power but hope to never use it.

I bought the Delta 2 Max about a month ago, when it was offered along with two free 110 watt portable solar panels. Right out of the box it was super easy to set up, and even on that cloudy day with one 110w panel connected, it was pulling in about 25w. Not much, I know, but it was still exciting!Realized pretty quickly I was going to need more panel capacity, so I ordered a 220w bi-facial. And then of course I would need more storage, so I ordered another battery! As it stands right now, when fully charged, the Max2 and the extra battery can run our main refrigerator, a 12v cooler (Iceco), and my complete computer setup (computer, four monitors, printer and scanner) for about a day and a half with no solar input whatsoever. We've been getting a lot of cloudy, ... On cloudy days with the 220 and two 110s in series, on average I'm pulling in about 150w for a max of 6 hours. On nice sunny days, I can max out at about 380 watts, with an average of about 330 for 6 or 7 hours. This is usually enough to keep all of the above running, but still draining the battery a bit. So...I see some bigger panels in my future - probably two 400W rigid panels. This will double my input capacity, allowing for a total recharge in my short window of sunlight.Note: we actually did lose power here for about 6 hours overnight one night when I only had about 30% capacity left in the batteries, and the refrigerator kept right on going, no problem!Charging with 110 is super-quick - usually 2 hours or so. Just for fun, I hooked up my son's gas-powered generator and charged it off of that unit's 110 - again with no problems.I'm trying to rely totally on solar now, so given the poor weather we're having, and until I can upgrade my input with two 400w rigid panels, I typically have to give it a full day and a half with nothing connected before I can hook up the refrig, cooler and computers again. Then run on batteries for a day and a half. etc.Overall, great product. Bought it with the intention of using in a small squaredrop camper I'm building, and it would of course handle that task with absolutely no problem. Might buy the second spare battery in the future, just to see how many regularly-running appliances I can switch over to solar on an ongoing basis. In the next few years, am planning to build a new off-grid-as-much-as-possible home, and will definitely looking to EcoFlow to power it!

I actually purchased a different brand's smaller unit on a spontaneous whim because I saw it on sale at Costco. But I got it home and unpackaged it and immediately had buyers remorse. I realized it was not going to be large enough both in power output and in storage capacity, so I returned it the next day. Then I proceeded to get into some research. I wanted something that I could transport easily and could run most of my RV and household items. I also did not want to spend a million dollars. After my research, I had it boiled down to the Ecoflow Delta 2 Max and the Bluetti AC200L. I finally decided on the Ecoflow. I have not used it a whole lot yet, just some initial testing and charging. It seems to work great! It is an awesome piece. I really like the speed of ... The only thing I wish it had is a 30 amp RV outlet, but that is not a deal breaker for me as I think I can adapt for that.Overall this is a great unit, great tech and has a great app to go with it. Very happy with my purchase. So much so that I have since purchased 3 of the Ecoflow River Pro 2 units to give to my children and the families.

I purchased the EcoFlow Delta 2 several months ago during a sales event. I also purchased the solar panels as a separate purchase. So thankful I had this during hurricane Helene that came across our area several weeks ago. We lost all power for about 72 hours. Thankfully I had charged the unit when it arrived. I used it for the three days we were without power and it worked great. Used it only when necessary and to keep all of the re-chargeable things up and running. (I loved having my Keurig coffee maker available - yes I am spoiled!).I cannot move my refrigerator enough to plug it into the ecoflow - so cannot comment on that. And also after three days it still had about 30 percent power. I never used the solar panels to recharge. Overall great product and so ... I purchased the Delta 2 Max as a bundle with two solar panels included. Unfortunately, the solar to XT60 cables to connect the panels to the battery were not included in my shipment. I had to wait for those cables to arrive before being able to charge the battery. I also purchased a Wave 2 air conditioner to be powered by this battery. I did not know that connecting the Wave 2 to the Delta 2 required a proprietary cable. That cable was out of stock on the EcoFlow site, but fortunately I was able to find one on another site.Once I had all the necessary cables, I was genuinely pleased with the performance of the EcoFlow solar panels and all the charging information available in the EcoFlow app on my phone. In addition to the EcoFlow panels, I had two solar panels purchased from a competitor on the second solar input (that also required an Andersen to XT60 cable, but I was prepared for that). This greatly sped up the process of getting the battery to 100%.With a fully charged battery and all the necessary cables packed into our camper van, my wife and I were able to test the battery and AC combination. My hope was that the Delta 2 Max would be able to power the AC for two nights in Eco Mode without a recharge, but at the end of the first night, only 20% of the battery capacity was left. Admittedly, it was very hot and humid (80+ degrees at night with 90%+ humidity), and I think under less harsh conditions my two night goal can be achieved. The Delta 2 battery has enough power outlets to run everything I can fit in my van. I look forward to having this battery along on my camping trips for the next several years. If I do have to up the capacity, it's easy enough to add an extra battery. I just have to remember to order the proprietary cable to go with it.
Ecoflow has acknowledged that Delta 2 Max machines are being shipped out with the box and machine labeled wrong. My box was labeled 1900Wh along with a sticker on the top of the Ecoflow machine that also states 1900Wh. This model is supposed to offer 2048Wh. It does. Power it on and go to the settings and it will reveal 2048Wh. I'm not at all happy that Ecoflow recognized this mistake and still ships machines packed in an incorrectly-labeled box along with the machine itself labeled wrong. I almost sent it back until customer service instructed me to check in settings to verify the machine sent out is correct. Still I have a brand new machine with a sticker on it with the wrong info. I live in Ft. Pierce, FL & just went through Hurricane Milton. Even prior to the hurricane, there was a tornado that hit approx. 2 miles from my house that did a lot of damage & tore up power lines. We lost power at 5pm that day & started using our Eco Flow immediately to keep our refrigerator running, or else we would lose about $400 worth of food. I got the Eco Flow specifically for this situation. That night we added 1 fan to help us sleep through the heat of not having a/c. The Eco Flow stopped running at 7am the next day, with the battery totally drained, but it did it's job up until then. The problem was, after that there was NO WAY TO RECHARGE it. The Eco Flow stopped running at 7am the next day, with the battery totally drained, but it did it's job up until then. The problem was, after that there was NO WAY TO RECHARGE it. The only way to recharge without power is using the car or using the solar panels that came with it. When we tried to charge it using the car it said it would take 21 HOURS to recharge, which makes that avenue to recharge relatively useless. There's no way we could run our car for 21 hrs., & by then, we would have lost everything in the fridge anyhow. So we hooked up the solar panels, but due to the hurricane, there was insufficient light to charge the battery. So after 1 night, we were stuck with what turned out to be a useless machine. This may be fine for camping, etc., but definitely NOT for power outages, so please stop misleading people by saying it is. Now that the storm has passed & power has been restored, I'm buying a conventional generator (cheaper & WAY MORE RELIABLE).
Until we have a need for this generator it would be premature to comment except on my experience getting it set up. The generator's 50 lbs seemed much heavier than that so I purchased a trolly to set it on and move it where it may be needed. The solar panels were also too heavy to lift so a family member who is a first responder helped with placing it in a convenient location so it could be used, if needed. Instructions for charging and how to use were simple enough and it only took half hour to fully charge. Our lesson was to have a convenient place to move where it will be most needed and a plan (like any preparedness plan) on what to do in an emergency. Be sure to read the directions about maintaining warranty as you will be required to keep the generator charged every 90 days or so to maintain the warranty. Check instructions for details. They are available in PDF on the site to purchase.

Be careful about this item. The model I ordered was not the same model that I received. The model that is advertised on the Wal-Mart website is the delta 2 max 2048wh model number EFD 350. However, I received the model EFD 329, which is a lower capacity delta 2 max at 1900wh.YES, THERE ARE TWO DIFFERENT VERSIONS OF THE DELTA 2 MAX.I called Ecoflow about this issue, and they assured me that I received the correct model even though both the box and sticker on the unit said EFD 329. The box even said 1900wh in large font. They told me that it was just a printing issue, and that if I were to connect the item to the app, the app would state the correct capacity at 2048wh. I started the return online, dropped off the item at the store, and was given a tracking number. The return process was very easy, simple, and no restocking fee whatsoever. Just be aware that refunds are not issued until Ecoflow receives the item.
