I love how this looks, the ease of construction and that it was all packaged in cardboard/recyclable packaging (no awful polystyrene!)I would have given 5 stars except for one thing: we already have a fabulous thickish (30cm) mattress and I was told by pre-purchase customer service that it would fit, lengthwise, despite sitting higher than the Ecosa mattress.Once the bed was assembled I’ve discovered that the foot end of the mattress doesn’t sit inside the rails, but instead rests ON the foot-end rail, which was the exact concern I had described to customer service and was reassured wouldn’t be a problem. So I have more or less jammed it down inside the rail but it is really difficult to do and then difficult to change the sheets. It’s probably not a reason to ... MoreI love how this looks, the ease of construction and that it was all packaged in cardboard/recyclable packaging (no awful polystyrene!)I would have given 5 stars except for one thing: we already have a fabulous thickish (30cm) mattress and I was told by pre-purchase customer service that it would fit, lengthwise, despite sitting higher than the Ecosa mattress.Once the bed was assembled I’ve discovered that the foot end of the mattress doesn’t sit inside the rails, but instead rests ON the foot-end rail, which was the exact concern I had described to customer service and was reassured wouldn’t be a problem. It might void our mattress warranty which is frustrating. I’m annoyed that the given measurements didn’t include this aspect. I’m annoyed that the customer service people have that call centre vibe of saying “yes, yes” without really having a clue. But I like how it looks and it feels solid and stable and no creaks. The ledge is good.

I’m not sure you want to ask me this at the moment. I bought a Queen sized Rise bed frame, and was happy with it. Since that went well I bought a Super King sized Rise bed frame which arrived damaged and you have not yet remedied this. I have supplied photos of the damaged head board and dented leg, twice, and have not yet received a response. The ledge behind the head board has detached, with broken dowels and glue not holding. Because we had dismantled our old bed we had to construct the new one even though it is damaged, which means we will have to dismantle the new one to replace the head board. I look forward to hearing from you as quickly as possible.

I'm willing to change this from a two-star, but enough time has passed that it's worth an honest review. It starts with the delivery of the frame. First thing to note, is the timeframes are quite different to that of the mattress. Why they don't arrive at the same time beats me. There was a packing error with the label stating the 'walnut' colour, meanwhile some of the parts were actually 'ash'. Credit to the Ecosa team, they collected fairly prompty and then delivered the correct parts. These were all done by different couriers - perhaps logistics in NZ are a little bit off, but it would make the most sense for a single courier to do everything given they'd be collecting from the same warehouse. Room for improvement, errors happen, but all done fairly promptly. ... MoreI'm willing to change this from a two-star, but enough time has passed that it's worth an honest review. It starts with the delivery of the frame. Room for improvement, errors happen, but all done fairly promptly. 3/5.Assesmbly was very simple, as advertised. You can do it by yourself, but it's much easier with a partner due to the size of the parts. Unwrapping takes about 20minutes given how much protective tissue and cardboard there is, but assembly is easily done in 5 minutes. No issues here to be honest 5/5.The primary issue is actually with the fit. The frame is rickety & squecky and it worsens over time. Wouldn't actually expect it as the parts are quite sturdy with nice big hinges to attach each part of the frame. I've tried everything, re-asembling it, putting in a little bit of paper in the gaps between the headboard and the frame to reduce the movement but the noise is very excessive to the point I am very conscious of moving while sleeping. It could be a one off issue, but other reviews indicate it's an ongoing issue. I've raised this with Ecosa support and they have sent me some anti-squeck bars you attach the the headboard and onto the wall to reduce the movement. This made a significant improvement, but the squeck is still bad. This change, takes the frame from a 1/5 to a 2/5. This is an ongoing discussion piece with Ecosa support so hopefully a replacement would come to see if that changes things. It's otherwise a very beautiful frame - the stain is nicely done - there is a bit of a glisten to the timber as well however the design needs work. Possibly if there was some padding between the headboard and the rest of the frame to minimize the sound that could help.Happy to update this review once the issue is resolved, but unfortunately it is what it is right now.

The ledge behind the headboard is perfect for keeping my glasses and other small items. I love the pine bedframe. My bedroom looks light and airy and the pine looks great with my dusky pink duvet and pillows. It was easy to put the frame together by myself. Just needed a second pair of hands for a few seconds to lift the headboard and place it correctly. The bedframe seems sturdy, and I'm expecting it to be longlasting, so a good investment. I like that the frame isn't too high off the ground.
Easy to assemble but poor quality. The wood disintegrated in places when screwing in screws for the first time. So some fixing points were loose from day 1. The bed is terribly squeaky.I don't mind the look. That gives it plus 1 star. But I've been searching for another option since day 1 of owning this bed. I bought the super king, so I'm now thinking of downgrading to a King mattress too just to make it easier to find a solid bed base that won't squeak. I now have to sell the mattress to fix this.
Very satisfied with the bed frame. I researched a lot online before purchase and it has surpassed my expectations. The form of bed is very beautiful, clean lines elegant design and love the hidden back of bedhead shelf. Impressed that the slats were only one piece and made of metal and timber, was very sturdy. Also, the no squeaking at all. The instructions for assembly was to general, not specific enough and had me guessing. I had to watch a Youtube video which was very helpful. I put the bed together myself but took me around 30 minutes. Also extremely happy with the delivery, so quick with little fuss, received in 1-2 days. Impressive compared to other furniture shops which was estimating 1-2 months. Freedom Furniture I had to wait for 3 months due to shipping ... MoreVery satisfied with the bed frame. Impressive compared to other furniture shops which was estimating 1-2 months. Freedom Furniture I had to wait for 3 months due to shipping delays. In the end I cancelled my order and got an Ecosa bed. Arrived next day with no fuss.Only two things is: please break down the instructions further with illustrations and specific clear instructions. Another is there is a lot of packaging (though I do understand this is to protect the product inside, which did a fantastic job, no damage, scratches, markings, no markings at all, pristine condition), however perhaps there another way of packaging needs to be explored which reduces the packaging - I had to call my council hard rubbish collection to collect the packaging as it would not fit in my standard bins.
Poor quality bed frame. It squeaks with even one person on it and no matter how little or how much you shuffle in the night you just can't make it through the night without noises and kids waking up. Please remember that it is an assembly bed frame (and it's not as easy as their Videos) so even though you can assemble it quickly, the moment you move it, it falls apart. You cannot clean underneath the bed if you want to move it.The slat frame does not stay true and no matter how many times you adjust the bottom metal legs, they don't stay straight. My thought is that bigger the size of your bed frame, the bigger your problems are going to be. It makes the Ecosa mattress underperform. I don't recommend buying this product. May be get a bed frame from other supplier ... MorePoor quality bed frame. We have upgraded our bed size looking for more space for adults to sleep on but we thoroughly regret buying this bed frame.
The build and material are very good. Strong and sturdy. The oak timber finish is very nice. I love it. The head design is lovely too. I also like the slates too. They are strong and sturdy. They will not move around as compared to my old one. The only thing improvement can be made is that my wife and I occasionally walked into the bed corners. This is because the Pure mattress is high and round at the corners whereas the bed is rectangular causing us to just walk across the mattress and not seeing the bed corners.
This wasn't my first time buying an ecosa, I got one back in 2020 and I was blown away by the simplicity, comfort, and quality. This time around, however, the setup phase didn't go quite as expected.Unfortunately, it would seem either quality control has diminshed or I just got unlucky: one of the pieces included in Box 1 was faulty and needed to be replaced. However, the support team was very responsive and thorough.I had an entire replacement of Box 1 sent to me by the following afternoon which I was thankful for. Although, it was a bit wasteful as I only needed one part of the box and was instructed to dispose of the remaining parts myself. Furthermore, one of the pieces in the replacement Box 1 was also faulty, so I ended up having to use a Frankenstein ... MoreThis wasn't my first time buying an ecosa, I got one back in 2020 and I was blown away by the simplicity, comfort, and quality. Once setup is complete, rest assured (pun intended) ecosa's Rise Bed Frame provides a very comfortable sleep and sits nicely as a sturdy piece of bedroom furtniture.
My Rise bed (queen size, Ash) was “pre-ordered” in early September and finally arrived in December. I chose this bed, in part, due to its weight load capability: a few months earlier, I bought the Ecosa Pure mattress without paying attention to all the specs - it weighs almost 70kgs!Friends came to help put my Rise together on Saturday and it was a breeze! It’s too much for one person to handle due to size, but it went together so quickly and easily -and without tools!! It took far longer to clean up all of the cardboard packing material than it did to put the bed together (SO much cardboard but good to know that the parts are so well protected during shipping). The end result is a sturdy bed that is capable of supporting the weight of the Ecosa Pure mattress ... MoreMy Rise bed (queen size, Ash) was “pre-ordered” in early September and finally arrived in December. Gorgeous.I also bought a pair of Capsule bedside tables in Ash. There is no assembly required and the solid wood is sturdy and gorgeous. My only gripe is one regarding the current fashion trend of bedside tables being short. Who decided that was a good idea? They’d be perfect if they were about 6-8” taller.
