I've read that this model has a 50/50 chance of developing leaks but so far I have not experienced any leaking or problems with my espresso machine. The only negative is the tamp. It is situated in a really stupid place; it is difficult to gauge the pressure exerted when you push up vs press down to tamp and it creates a mess. I am going to buy a separate tamp. The coffee is excellent, good temperature and no burnt taste that I have had with other machines. Love this machine.

Great value for money. Gorgeous styling. Makes an excellent cup of coffee - it has very good pressure. Removable water-storage jug is convenient for cleaning. Definitely our favorite kitchen item!
I would have preferred the coffee tamper to have been a separate item and not part of the machine.

Makes a stellar cup of coffee, cappuccino or any barista type specialty coffee. Good value for money. Would recommend to anyone for home use. Great product and we are very pleased with it.
The inbuilt tamper was not a good idea as it's difficult to use that method. Seems ok, but new to coffee making and will need some time to get the hang of it. So far seems to be a decent machine. Will let you know how it goes. My son-in-law is a coffee making fundi and has a high-end manual machine of Australian origin; I'm sure he will show me how to get the best results eventually.
This product is terrible. The coffee is weak. It is difficult to use. I regret wasting my money buying it.
This is a great machine and makes excellent coffee. The design and build quality of the DeLonghi is really good and in it's price range, this choice is a no brainer.
