The Jay is the most well rounded harness in the Edelrid line. It has adjustable leg loops so you can wear extra layers and get in some cragging while there's still snow on the ground. The waist padding can be positioned on the belt at the spot where it adds the most comfort. Drop seat and ice-clipper slots are suited to mountain routes. Waist has 3D mesh padding that can be positioned for comfort. Dyneema and polyester protector on belay loop and tie-in points to stand up to abrasion. Slide Block buckles are secure and comfortable. Leg loops have elastic mesh inserts for comfort and fit. Drop seat is useful on long routes where it's inconvenient to untie.
