I thought I bought a scissor sharpener, and was very hopeful as I have a lot of scissors that need sharpening! Did the item work? Nah!!! It made them even worse that I can't use them at all.They are high quality scissors, with a few normal ones ,but now my so so scissor sharpener means I need to p[ay large amounts to get them back to normal

It works well enough for the price. The coarse part of the knife sharpener can be a little rough to use and you can end up with a somewhat wobbly edge if you use too much force (how much is too much? That's the million dollar question). So, if you buy it, just use gentle force and be patient. The ceramic part of the knife sharpener cleans up the edge nicely. Scissor sharpener works well enough as long as you use it often enough and use it only a little each time, like you should do with the knife sharpener, anyway. Good for the price.
